The most beautiful venue & lovely accommodation. We were disappointed to find very few EV chargers which was an inconvenience for us.

Overall. I was very happy with the stay

You go for the view. Everything else is average but overpriced. View and beach is amazing.

Overall a nice resort. Had an issue with the sliding door for our balcony, wouldn’t open. We didn’t report it cause we weren’t in our room that much. I think we were next to some sort of electrical room, kept hearing a noise kick on every so often. Again, not a dealbreaker. Great location next to the beach, great amenities. Would stay there again.

Great place to stay with family

We found the physical hotel to be fine however the staff weren’t great…especially in the restaurant. I’m not sure if it’s a training issue or a lack of availability of better people, however they seemed to be somewhat disinterested. As “the best” hotel in the area, we would have expected the staff to be friendlier, so we were a bit disappointed.

Check in was smooth and quick. We were provided with all the information we required. We enjoyed our rate, even though it was brief.

Beautiful hotel, great service, clean and amazing views

Beautiful property on beach, it has beautiful walkway. We go often for weekend get away. We enjoy it ambience and restaurant.

The Beach Club Resort has a lot going for it. The location is truly excellent — right on a beautiful stretch of beach and close to everything you might want to access in Parksville. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, and the overall setting makes it easy to enjoy the area without needing to drive anywhere. That said, there were a few surprising drawbacks. The pool area has no seating for parents who aren’t in the water with their kids, which made supervising from the deck awkward and honestly a bit unexpected for a family‑oriented resort. And while I’m sure many rooms at the resort are lovely, the room we stayed in (219) was unfortunately not. The balcony is directly adjacent to the walkway used by guests accessing their rooms — only about two feet away. This creates a fishbowl effect where anyone walking by can’t help but look in, and it eliminates any sense of privacy on the balcony or inside the room. The same issue would presumably affect the room below and those above. If you stay at this resort, I strongly recommend asking how the balcony is configured before booking and avoiding rooms in this section entirely. The location and staff are wonderful, but the layout of these particular rooms is a significant drawback.

Awesome

This is a memorable and most enjoyable hotel to stay at. The views on the beach are extraordinary, low tide is amazing and the view over to Lasqueti, Texada and the mainland are fabulous. The water walk and sand sculptures (summer), park and beach are lovely. The restaurant inside and out on the patio is delightful

It is a well maintained hotel with friendly staff. I want to specially thank Justin who helped us several times during our stay. We are from Toronto and have been to many hotels in Canada and this definitely is very good price for an excellent hotel

Staff friendly throughout, some more experienced. Shame restaurant and room service closes at 9pm which seems early for such a hotel. One bed suite very spacious with kitchen as well as washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. Bed and pillows comfortable. WiFi reliable and included in cost. Great location near beach, valet parking

The facility itself was nice enough, but the staff was not friendly, and made it seem like an imposition whenever we made inquiries. The dinner and dinner service in the hotel restaurant was excellent but they did absolutely nothing to mark the birthday we had notified them of, in stark contrast to celebrations at other restaurants in the area. We went there as a staycation and will not be recommending the property to any visiting friends or family members. A $2 slice of cake (the cost to the kitchen) would have made a huge difference as a good will gesture, especially considering the substantial dinner bill we had. We were very disappointed and will not have any future celebrations there (in the hotel or the restaurant). The spa facility was also nice enough with knowledgeable staff but not very “zen-like” and not in the same league as other local spas in terms of services offered or atmosphere. It was overall a very mediocre experience with a very high price tag.

Great location on the beach! Clean rooms and easy parking. Would stay again.
