这个酒店性价比超值，位置不太好找，差点错过了路口，酒店设施很好，庭院很漂亮，后院还有野生动物的饲养基地，可惜我们没来得及看，酒店安静舒适

Good breakfast help yourself to it .Clean very basic room .

We enjoyed our stay and it is good value for money overall. Good stuff : Lovely setting. Friendly reception and bar staff. All items on cooked breakfast were actually hot... from self service! highly unusual but much appreciated & real coffee. Bad stuff : Grumpy unfriendly restaurant staff did not have a smile between them.. They were quite abrupt and unhelpful. The two main courses we wanted had run out! The bottle of Rose wine was overpriced at £29 for 10.5Abv. I had to ask for a wine cooler... the reply was.. Sorry they have all been stolen! I asked for an ice bucket to be told they are only for Champagne! What? Unbelievable. The wine was inpleasant.. Wine was poor for the price. Overall... Room was clean and functional. Setting is lovely.. Female staff were lovely too. Restaurant staff require training! We would stay again and hope for an improvement!

Very good, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was a bit tired.

There was no fan in the bedroom on the hotest night of the year and the pillows offer no support at all. Great location, nice staff, nice building and basics, but to have no fan was a real let down.

Food very nice

The room was small, dated and bed extremely uncomfortable. However the breakfast and dinner time food options were lovely as well as the bar and restaurant being excellent. Cannot fault the staff they were extremely friendly and helpful, its the lack of sleep due to the uncomfortable bed which ruined our stay.

Our room was tucked away at the end of a corridor even though the hotel wasn't full. The bathroom/toilet smelt of urine and we had to close the door in order for the smell to be contained. I informed the receptionist on leaving and no apology was made just an 'Okay'. The whole place is indeed of refurbishment. However, the staff were friendly and the breakfast choice adequate.

Very welcoming reception, lovely staff. Room very clean and all essentials there. Hotel itself clean, spaces, lovely surroundings. Breakfast was good, buffet with typical English breakfast, also healthy breakfast available, toaster and white/brown bread, no rolls. Maybe not for some, but Important for me, not variety of morning coffee (disappointing) just instant coffee + milk. In the evening restaurant serves a great meals, drinks and variety of coffee! That means the proper coffee machine is in the kitchen but not using for breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall highly recommended I would stay there again.

Friendly and efficiencient staff, full breakfast at your disposal. Somewhat pricey diner "main event" (main meal). A bit far from the York city centre, if point of visit is York.

Very quick check in with very friendly staff. Room was on ground floor and a good size. Very clean and welcoming. Breakfast was good and again staff in the restaurant were very helpful and efficient. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel but our room wasn’t cleaned properly, could have done with a good freshen up , however we did see painters in so probably in process of freshening up rooms, bed was very comfortable but could have done with new pillows as they were a bit flat, Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Food was very good huge portions, freshly cooked and reasonably priced.

An excellent stay at this well located hotel. The food was excellent, the menu isn't massive but I'd rather a smaller menu with exceptional food than an extensive menu with poor food. The venison in red wine was ad one of the staff desc6it, to die for! Breakfast was also very good.

For the price this hotel/training centre is great value. Have no hesitation recommending Burn Hall.

Plenty of parking available, check-in was easy. Reception area and bar and dining areas were all very nice. There's outside seating, which we put to good use with a couple of beers in the sunshine. Our bedroom was an executive size as we like a bigger bed. Unfortunately the hotel is tired in this area and needs a refurb on the rooms. Little things like ridiculous bedside lights not being bright enough and 1 of our mattresses was a bit 'springy'. (2 beds joined together). The saving grace was the room size and the fact that it was very clean and there was plenty of tea/coffee. The toilet and shower area, although very clean and tidy, were in need of a definite upgrade. Some handyman just needs to go around and put some silicone or trim around the bath area and just look at areas that need work doing etc etc. The extractor fan wasn't working. The staff were amazing, and were extremely helpful. Food was good, especially the venison stew! Breakfast was absolutely fine with usual choice of English breakfast items. I would have liked a few extras like croissants or crumpets but perhaps they may appear at some point in the future. We had a good time over the 2 night stay and had dinner at the hotel both nights. There are a couple of eateries in Huby, just down the road, where you could go to for a change .

Right from checking in, our room,the staff, the grounds & the food & drink being excellent. The staff are really friendly especially in the bar & restaurant where they made a special effort as my partner is vegan, also the food & drinks were really reasonable which I didn’t expect with it being a hotel. Sitting outside on the terrace in the sun with a cold cider/beer was fabulous as was sitting in the lounge on an evening chatting to Tom the barman. He was really helpful in suggesting local places to visit on our weekend away. We will definitely be back especially with the direct deals they have at the moment £169/179for 2 for 2 nights including breakfast & £15 towards your 1st night meal Apr-Sept. Bargin!!!! Well done everyone❤️💜
