Breakfast not bad,evening meal can only be 2 courses or 3 courses.We found the food quite bland and the amount of flies in the eating area was not good,at breakfast time the flies were on the croissants and pastries.Comfortable bed but cobwebs on ceilings in double room,no toiletries in bathroom now,staff advised that they stopped supplying them recently.Had to drive to Asda to purchase some.

Everything looked very nice on the surface, fading a bit in places, we went for my husbands birthday, expected a little effort as the staff knew, however it wasnt mentioned at all, also it could of been a bit cleaner, large cobweb in bathroom, just a few little issues that you dont expect at this price point, absolutely beautiful gardens though and very nice breakfast

Booked for a friend's wedding in the area. Hotel was very remote..but amazing. Vwry quite and just lovely. Enjoyed the snooker table.

Room good, although the standard size double bed was a disappointment, especially comparing it to other hotels and given the price paid. Room easily big enough for a kingsize or super king! Food excellent and staff very welcoming

The grounds and garden views were beautiful. It was very quiet and tranquil. Buildings exterior was beautiful. The inside lobby, bar, lounge were lovely decorated and accessories to tie in very grand. The beds were comfortable. But on a down side the bedrooms however i felt didnt match up with the rest i personally thought they needed some refreshing up....thats when you could eventually get into the room we had issues with this which when we mentioned it to reception its a known fact people have the same issues apparently maintenance cant fix the problem? Plus the paint needed re touching up, wallpaper coming away from wall/ceiling in some areas, the sink cracked, dented bin,.

Was really looking forward to this and yet was underslwhelmed. Went away for a weekend in May 24 and booked this as a treat. Quite a tired place which is a shame as the grounds are lovely. In need of a good paint. We stayed in a top attic room which was slightly damp in the bathroom with visible mould. The window (sash) didn't stay open and was in need of some TLC. The meal was again disappointing. Such a shame.

Very quiet location. Well located for attractions in the area. Plenty of seating areas in & out of the hotel to relax

The hotel and grounds are amazing. Some decor could do with freshening up but not major. Food was as you'd expect, staff were friendly yet professional.

Grinkle Park is a traditional country house hotel, tastefully decorated and furnished and set in beautiful grounds. The bedroom had everything you needed, with a very comfortable bed and very clean

It was beautiful, the Hall and the grounds are stunning, the service was great, the food was great. Perfect stay!

Location and all original house and good large bedroom. Small point but it would have been good to have real butter on for my toast!,

The hotel itself was lovely and our room perfect. However the food served for the evening meals was not so good. The fish dishes were OK but when they describe a beef item as being served with root vegetables and when it arrived the vegetables would not have filled a desert spoon and the parsnip was hard this was very disappointing. We would stay at the hotel again but would go elsewhere for an evening meal.

ve Friendly, helpful service. Reasonable room. -ve Food acceptable at best. Decor tired. Disliked being charged at check out for meal I had paid for.

Location was brilliant, hotel was lovely but breakfast could be better - come on no one likes burnt sausages and bacon with lots of fat I have a body of adonis.
