Staff very helpful and friendly. Clean rooms and comfy beds

A lovely relaxing stay, with pleasant, friendly and very helpful staff. The room was elegant and the bed very comfortable, with everything we needed. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very enjoyable. We travelled with our retired greyhound Towser and the staff were very accommodating to him also.

Our dog friendly room was perfect! We even had our own little garden. Room was spotlessly clean with a huge bed. Extremely dog friendly. Staff were helpful, friendly and very attentive. Breakfast was lovely. Enjoyed our stay here very much. We will always stay here now when we visit Lytham.

The rooms were clean tea and coffee making facilities, the shower wasn't very powerful but was adequate, close to seafront and the shops, about a 10 min walk to the train station. The breakfast was lovely, full english, cereals and fresh fruit and toast and tea and coffee.

Parking tight but good to have for convenience. Used 2 rooms. Tastefully decorated. Mire oldy world charm. Clean and warm. One had a small balcony. Nice for better weather. Staff friendly, breakfast good. Only stayed one night. Was nice to relax in the sitting room at the end of the day. Comfy chairs. Just a small nighle. Would like to have had options of decaf coffee and hot chocolate with a couple of biscuits. I did get decaff when i asked. Not a problem. All in all a very good experience and in walking distance of amenities.

Brilliant staff. Clean place, excellent breakfast. Enjoyed our time there. It’s only vey dated property with small rooms. Overall great place and definitely recommend this place.

I had booked the wrong date of my stay, but was made to feel welcome and luckily could accommodate us that night instead. The room was clean, spacious and airy. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The parking although small was available. The breakfast was fantastic such a great choice and lovely cooked food, and prompt service. Great location to the beach, shops and restaurants- will definitely be back thank you.

Luxurious room with comfortable bed. Ideal location within easy reach of seafront and St Anne’s Town Centre. 10 minutes drive to either Blackpool or Lytham. Lovely breakfast with cereals, toast, pancakes and the traditional full English as well as other cooked options. Parking is available at the guesthouse but only limited(6 vehicles) Howarth House will definitely be our first choice of accommodation on our next visit to St Anne’s.😀

This wonderful hotel truly welcomes dogs by providing dog bowls, a special cover so the dog can get on the bed and they even provided a dog towel. Our dog was welcome to join us at breakfast where we had a separate table away from the rest and Charlie was given a dog chew. We absolutely loved it and would definitely stay again. It was very comfortable and a great location - thank you

This is simply the best place to stay in Lytham St Anne’s. The rooms are lovey, tastefully decorated with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast is perfect, everything you could want to start the day the right way. The best thing though is the staff. Each and every one of them provide the finest Lancashire Hospitality and this is what sets it apart from other hotels and bnb’s in the local area. Nothing is too much trouble and they go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The icing on the cake is being a dog friendly place to stay, knowing we can bring our dog just makes it a fantastic experience. Thank you to Sue and all the wonderful team at Howarth House. Your hard work and effort is very much appreciated!
