I loved my stay at lancaster hotel as always and so did my mum during her visit on my graduation day!!! The location is very convenient as it’s peaceful and very safe with 24/7 security help available.
The lancaster restaurant itself is very good too! Loved their mushroom soup and garlic bread :)

Good value: large bedroom and bathroom, free parking, comfortable beds, tea & coffee provided in the room. Location is safe onsite a University. There is a Uber pick up point nearby. Window can be controlled by buttons next to the bed. The only downside is without air conditioning. But considering the price it is quite understandable. Reasonable price even when booked last minute. (I needed to extend stay for one night in the region. other hotels in the same region charged double price comparing to advanced booking even they were half empty). breakfast is available onsite but I didn't have time to try. Will highly recommend this place when visiting the area. Well managed!

Basic Hotel but very good location and staff excellent and really helpful.
Rooms are small but clean for a short stay it had everything we needed.
Rooms very very Hot.

Room was small. Hard to pull chair out from desk without hitting bed. Walls need touch up painting. Free breakfast was only for one of the two of us. No air conditioning. Room was very hot. Our room was above the outside picnic area. People were outside drinking— very loud, so we could not keep the window open.
Could not get hot water. Knob on sink for hot water was stuck.
Pictures on website look much better than our actual room. This was a former dorm room and is used mainly for campus visitors.
Room was clean.
Staff was very quick with check in.
Parking was ok.
Breakfast was good.

The room (and hotel overall) had no aircon
The shower in my room was broken
The hotel lifts were out of order
One member of staff (on my arrival) was very helpful

This hotel was easy to get to by car and the check in was smooth. The bar is small but the prices are really reasonable. The hotel was clean and tidy and is secure with being in the university grounds.
Only negatives were that we only had 1 cup in our room for two people and only one large and medium towel.
The hotel is about a 20 min walk to the tube but there is a busy stop not far from the hotel that takes you into Uxbridge centre. The transport links from the centre back to the hotel late at night are difficult to navigate so just be mindful that the centre is a bit of a walk.

I cancelled my second night because there was no air conditioning or sufficient ability to open enough windows in the room and throughout the hotel. Also all of the sockets are on the outside wall so there is no way to dry your hair or anything in front of a mirror which on the opposite side of the room or in the bathroom.

Check-in didn't start well but eventually all was sorted. Room very small and the bed was uncomfortable. Location is not the best unless you have business at the University. No dining options close by. Good breakfast. Probably wouldn't stay again.

The staff was helpful from the first day we arrived. We were able to put our bags in a safe area because we got there early, which was helpful. We were always greeted, and most of the area was well-maintained. However, I did give it 4/5 stars because the shower ceiling looked like it was starting to grow mold, and the shower curtain didn't hold anything in, so the floor kept getting wet, which was irritating. Again, though, very friendly staff.

We were told when we arrived there that no they were coming in our room unless we asked for them to come in, which is fine one of the days we came back and they changed the locks on the doors to the room. Am my medication and phone we’re inside. I got back late and there were no staff to let me in how to get hold of a security which took a long time. No reason given as to why they didn’t tell us about their lock change it was like we didn’t matter
