Nice hotel. Great location. Walking distance to high street.

Double charged for breakfast and still waiting for the refund 3 weeks later… No hot water during our stay and still waiting for the promised refund for that too…

Staff couldn’t be more helpful Fantastic

My stay included going to a concert, back at the hotel by midnight I asked for room service and was told that the kitchen was closed. I checked on the website that stated room service was available, so in the end had to go and find something to eat elsewhere which at that time was few and far between. Disappointed that there was no room service at that time, suggest it is spelt out better on the hotel paperwork.

We had a room with double and single bed. It was very clean - couldn't fault that. I felt it was in a rather run down and ugly location - wouldn't ever return to that area of Sheffield. The view from our window was terrible - made area look derelict. So many things in the room were dated and chipped, including paintwork and had seen better days. The aircon simply did not work despite three of us trying. Fortunately, the window opened, though even with it open, the room remained very stuffy and too warm overnight. The cistern in the loo had a problem and was constantly refilling meaning you were unable to flush. The fan in the bathroom was extremely loud despite being tiny. The noiseproofing seemed non-existent. You could hear every single sound in the corridor even though door was closed. The member of staff who checked us in spoke so quietly, you had to ask her to repeat every thing she said. Why did she whisper?! And finally, no biscuits provided with tea and coffee!😊 We paid £179 for one night. Bad value for money.

Messed up the booking, despite mention 2 adult and child - there was no bed for child, end up booking additional room (disable room) last minute, as upgrade was not possible. We have been loyal customer so far but afraid this will last time staying here!

There was no hot water, we agreed to stay on the understanding we got a 25% discount. However, the refund we actually received is very much below 25%. Hotels.co and the leonardo just keep fobbing me off with excuses-I feel it might be a maths issue. Cold showers are no fun but then to not get the full refund is galling.

Good breakfast and overall clean however on arrival the shower gel was empty which I asked to get refilled. Next day the hand wash finished too and asked for 2 days for refill but nobody came and had to use the shower gel for handwashing. During my stay there was also a malfunction of the hot water therefore all water was freezing cold. I was initially promised 50% refund from my total stay, but this kept being changed by different staff to 25% then 40%. Did not get any written confirmation so it was a battle to keep repeating myself.

Very nice hotel but they had an issue with their water system and we had no hot water which isn’t ideal when staying in a hotel. Other than this, it would have been very nice!

Convenient and cozy hotel with amazing staff.

I found hotel a bit grubby. Breakfast selection was good, but was cold. Middle of afternoon I was in my room and a staff member let themselves in. No knock to warn me. I was told by reception that staff are entitled to enter rooms and to put up a do not disturb sign. Cleaners had already been. Noisy at night from local club, so didn't sleep well. On last morning toilet stopped flushing. Most staff friendly at reception and breakfast area. I wouldn't stay here again. Rooms need updating, especially bathrooms, as looked old and tatty.

Very close to Sheffield railway station and easy to find. Check in (& out) was easy and quick. Room was ready well before time stated. The air conditioning was very welcome on a very hot day. Room clean and quiet. I liked that it had a bath but as the shower was over the bath this might be a problem for the less able as climbing into a bath can be difficult.

I Stay here several times a year and the staff are always there for help if needed. See you again in a couple of months. Many thanks
