Needs to be renovated but it’s good value for money and is close to the beach and town centre

Clean tidy room, friendly staff did not use bar or parking

Had a great stay here. Bonus was the entertainer in the bar area (Jules). Comfy sitting areas around hotel. Bed and pillows comfy with good hot water in shower. Staff were also excellent and very helpful.

Ive stayed here quite a few times now if you want a clean quiet comfy room with a good hot shower friendly staff in a good location at a fair price this is the place for you cheers guys see you soon

The hotel is dated but the staff were friendly on arrival and during breakfast. The room was clean, just dated. Bed a bit soft but difficult to please everyone. Great location and a short walk to the beach. Breakfast was adequate and the lady who served us was super helpful as we had a young child with us.

We have stayed here before and again got a family room for 3 nights. This one was better than the last one. We did not stay here for breakfast and went to Morrisons instead. There is limited parking at the hotel and overnight parking on the roads available. Ok if you’re off out for the day, they supply towels and a little bar of soap each. You need to supply shampoo etc. very friendly staff

Comfortable room near beach and own free car parking facilities I am happy with my choice of Hotel booked. In the evening I relaxed with live music at cosy bar.

Clean and comfortable, it made us feel at home even if only for one night. Many thanks to the gentleman at the reception who, despite being tired, kindly waited for us until the very last moment late at night to check us in.

No one or no where did we read about the expensive Ferry.....Cant recommend the Ferry or the hotel

The male receptionist was lovely, very kind and friendly. The hotel was very, very disappointing. I have stayed in Youth Hostels that really put the Medehamstede to shame. I absolutely hat writing bad reviews because i always worry about the staff and their jobs. And as I have mentioned the receptionist / concierge was wonderful. Why on earth has the hotel not at least been painted on the outside? Why are there so many crappy fire doors - just paint them white and you will improve the appearance by 100%. There is absolutely no love shown by the owners in this hotel, and it is such a shame as it could be a real gem if it was just given a few days of cosmetic love.

Cannot speak highly enough about this hotel, it may not look as grands as some but that is made up for by the friendly and helpful staff, the quality of the food and the general good feeling you get staying there

Nice hotel with friendly staff and good service. Maybe the exterior could do with a lick of paint, but overall I had no problems and would definately recommend.

Have stayed here a few times previously, great Staff, very friendly fairly basic rooms but recently renovated bathrooms. Great value,
