The room was very clean and had everything we needed, including a small fridge with a bottle of fresh milk. There is a large residents lounge with sofa, arm chair, rocking chairs, tables and chairs which was great for chilling. The breakfast (yogurt followed by a cooked breakfast) was delicious, especially the sausages from the local butcher's. The only downside was the steep stairs, however the warm welcome more than made up for it. We will be staying again.

If you’re looking for an unforgettable stay in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, Riverside B&B in Bainbridge is simply the best option. The location feels straight out of a fairytale: a beautiful historic building set right next to the river, perfect for truly relaxing and switching off from the world. The communal room is something special in its own right — you’ll be genuinely surprised by how welcoming and atmospheric it is. Our room was just perfect, with lovely features, everything spotlessly clean, and all the essentials you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The whole place is immaculate and offers fantastic value for money, especially given the quality of the experience. But the true highlight of everything is Roxana. Quite honestly, Roxana is the best B&B host we’ve ever met. The warmth, care and attention given to guests makes all the difference, and the culinary skills are absolutely outstanding — the breakfast is nothing short of majestic. Don’t hesitate for a second to book this place. It’s a stay you’ll remember for all the right reasons. And… thanks again, Roxana!

Really enjoyed our stay Roxanna made sure everything was as we wanted. Breakfast was excellent cooked to order using quality ingredients. Would stay again. Be mindful that all rooms are up 2 flights of home type stairs so not suitable for people with mobility issues
