Lovely welcoming staff. Friendly atmosphere. Well stocked bar with plenty of seating & a beer garden. Great cooked breakfast. Everywhere well cleaned. Good spacious room with a lovely comfy bed, kettle with tea/coffee etc. hairdryer, toiletries in bathroom. Nice hot shower. We would certainly recommend & will return for another stay.

Very pleasant stay and staff

The room was clean and spacious. Thick curtains cut out any street lighting which was good. It was quiet but sadly no meals were being served in the pub till Thursday. Breakfast was excellent. Nicely presented. The staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. There are plenty of eateries all within walking distance.

Had a lovely stay. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. We booked this accommodation due to its close proximity to the Scarborough Open Air Theatre and would 100% come back here again if we go to another concert there 😀

The Alberts is an inn, but we had a lot of privacy thanks to the access of the rooms can be done via a separate entrance from the pub. Although the pub was opened until midnight that music wasn't too loud.

Great little place!

Unfortunately there was a band on until midnight right below the room, so this was extremely loud and impossible to sleep during evening hours. Staff was polite and attentive upon arrival and gave heads up on the late night noise. Breakfast not available until 8:30am but was able to ask for a favour to have a bit earlier. Overall as expected and advertised minus the noise level

GREAT STAY WILL BOOK AGAIN The room was spacious clean and had everything we needed the breakfast was lovely and the staff were very helpful The live entertainment in the pub was great and it finished promptly at 11pm so we could go straight to bed after and even though the pub shuts at 12 we couldn't hear anything in the room xxxxx

Lovely stag whilst going to the open air theatre. Nice breakfast too.

We had an excellent stay whilst attending a concert at the open air theatre. The room was clean with everything you needed, a well stocked tea and coffee tray with biscuits and two bottles of water. There was also toiletries in the bathroom although we used our own. The bar itself was great, lovely choice of drinks and food. Great band were playing on the Saturday night, great friendly atmosphere. The breakfast in the morning was first class, lots of choice and well cooked. We wouldnt hesitate to stay here again, thanks to all the staff for their hospitality. Chris and Andy

Stayed here for one night while attending a show at the Open Air Theatre. It wasn’t the Ritz but for what we paid we weren’t expecting the Ritz! What we got was a nice clean room with what looked like a recently renovated bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast, which we pre-ordered was freshly cooked and plentiful. The Open Air Theatre was a 15-20 minute walk away. Would definitely recommend The Albert for anyone looking for post-show accommodation

Bedrooms over entertainment area. Music om till midnight. This is not clear when booking.

Really comfy place. Room was spot on. When the gentleman showed me the room. He noticed a mark on the duvet. (It was nothing really). It looked like they’d maybe rested the vacuum on the bed & it had left a bit of dirt. The gentleman changed the duvet cover there & then. I ordered my breakfast & unfortunately I slept in. When I left I apologised & they couldn’t have been nicer about it. Spot on place , would stay again.

Easy check in with private parking around the back of the pub. Big room with huge bed and everything you need. Ideal for our overnight stay in Scarborough. Friendly atmosphere and a fab breakfast.
