5 star service from the minute we arrived. London hotels can suffer with impersonal and indifferent service. This hotel is completely the opposite. Rooms clean and spacious. Breakfast very good indeed. Lovely airy breakfast room with a terrace outside. No basement room in sweaty heat here!
The evening restaurant has wonderful service, well priced wine by the glass as well as bottle. Extensive drinks list. Good food and works perfectly if you get back late from Wimbledon as they serve late. Highly recommend The Lodge.

We had a fantastic stay here and glad we chose it as our base to attend Wimbledon.
The staff were great from the minute we arrived to the moment we left. It was relaxing - lovely courtyard for some early evening drinks and the food was absolutely delicious.
All the staff were great but huge shout out to the 2 servers on our Thursday night (2nd July) were exceptional - clearly hugely busy but still gave excellent service and with a smile on their faces.
Thank you for a fantastic satey - we will be back :-)

Normaal zou ik (voetgangster) niet snel voor Putney kiezen als locatie, maar aangezien KEW Gardens¨ en route¨ was. Het hotel is vooral op een uitstekende locatie gelegen als je met de auto reist. Ik was heel blij met de kamer die ik kreeg, op een hogere etage en met lekker veel kleur. Het hele hotel is verfijnd qua styling en entourage; echt een 4-sterren boutique hotel. Dan moet je bijvoorbeeld denken aan originele kunstwerken, een badjas, een heerlijk donzen dekbed op een super boxspring combinatie. En met prima airco! Ontvangst heel gastvrij, voorzieningen zoals eigen restaurant allemaal ter ondersteuning van een relaxed verblijf.

We stayed in a Superior room. Bed was large and really comfortable. Room was clean with air con already on when we arrived. Really helpful staff carried our luggage and showed us to our room and explained everything to us. Breakfast had a huge choice including hot and cold and was really tasty. We had an an enjoyable stay

Lovely small hotel. Ideally placed for public transport into London - bus stop outside, East Putney tube 5 minutes.
Very friendly and helpful staff offering suggestions.
Well appointed room and very comfortable bed.
Good food options and adaptable for gluten intolerance. Cosy bar with great range of drinks.

A lovely friendly welcome from the reception team who showed us to our room and offered to help with luggage. Parking £20 a day really helpful. Great atmosphere and beautiful room with enormous super comfortable bed. Top spec fixtures and fittings, linen and a lovely shower. We were meeting up with family so ate out, so cannot rate the food but there was a lovely bar area. Bus stop just outside to get around easily.
Will stay again, couldn’t fault it.

This was an exceptional hotel experience! From start to finish there were no flaws. The staff was lovely, the room was a pleasant, clean and comfortable home base and the morning breakfast was amazing! We felt well taken care of and safe in the sweet neighbourhood of Putney. An added bonus was being so close to the tube station. I would definitely come back for future visits.

Check in was quick, the room was really clean the window was facing a wall which wasn’t nice and I didn’t like the small space between the two rooms as a lone female even though there was a light! The evening meal was lovely including the staff and the gym was quite clean and well equipped

I had an excellent stay here of two nights. Diana at the front desk was outstanding from beginning to end helping me with my bags before my room was ready and having them in my room for my check-in later that evening before my return. The single room was perfect for solo travel and I felt immediately happy with the room amenities. The bed was especially comfortable and being situated at the back of the hotel meant I had a wonderful night of sleep to kick off my day. The bar staff were also particularly kind to me and my friend who came to visit me at the hotel. The cleaning staff were also incredible - the room spotless. I was only sad to leave this wonderful hotel and plan to be back very soon!

There's a lot to love about this property. It seems very new. The finishes are very nice. The rooms are well insulated and therefore very quiet. The area is nice, safe, walkable, and close to everything you need. HOWEVER! The bathroom is incredibly small. I'm above average in size (6'5"), and the shower was very difficult to use. My wife, on the other hand, is very much average in size (5'4"), and even she struggled to use the shower. Be aware of this when making your selection of hotels in the London area. This place has a lot going for it, but that was one very big drawback for us.

'Classic Double' room was a loft room on third floor (no lift). A couple of light bulbs out; coffee machine didnt work; no hot water in sink; difficult getting wifi. A bit disappointing.
