Very clean loved the fan in the room staff lovely and good breakfast excellent value for money

Had a wonderful time staff really nice a very enjoyable stay

We stayed Monday to Friday for four nights during the recent heatwave. We wondered how easy it would be to sleep with no air-con but our room had a great ceiling fan and a window to open in the bedroom and one in the bathroom. The air circulation was spot on and we slept very well in the comfy bed. The whole place was very clean and welcoming with attentive and friendly staff. Breakfast was superb, as was the meal we had the evening we arrived. Parking was always available on site. The hotel is in a very good position, just on the edge of town but close enough to walk to the centre in ten minutes. We will definitely be back in the future.

Be aware sat nav sends you down the wrong road to access carpark, as you look at it face on, the carpark is on the road to the left of it. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking in carpark at back . Excellent breakfast. Enjoyed a lovely evening meal there. Good selection of wine and beer. Comfy beds. Clean.

Welcoming staff, Alnwick is lovely. Room large, clean with tea and biscuits- great. Standard pub food, leak and potato soup more mash potato, but gammon and chips nice. Good helpful service throughout

The only downside was the pillows are not fit for purpose very uncomfortable

Second stay at the property. Very welcoming hotel and lovely breakfast included. It's within walking distance of Alnwick town centre. Rooms clean and nicely decorated. Ample parking onsite and overall an excellent place to stay! We will be returning again later in the year!

Bedroom was very clean and comfortable. Three course lunch was very good value. Staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was spoiled by loud music. Plenty room for parking.

First time we had stayed here but friends had recommended it so we were happy to book. It was very clean, most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Found the food very average, only had one evening meal in the hotel, that was enough, if you like everything deep fried you are sorted, even the breakfast bacon by how tough it was. The hotel is on a busy corner junction so it was very noisy and as its a historic building it has single glazing so even with the windows shut (during a heatwave, so thank goodness for a fan in the room to at least blow the warm air around) you could still hear the traffic at the traffic lights outside so not a very good nights sleep. The ensuite was tiny and the shower cubicle claustrophobic, the wardrobes were half width and so narrow you had to hang your clothes at and angle on the rail to shut the door so not much good if you were staying more than a couple of days as more than three hangers worth wont fit. The pillows were flat and mine were a bit lumpy. The bed was fine, a bit too hard for me but a good quality mattress. Bedding was lovely, clean, white and crisp. Struggled to park the first night as the carpark is open to non residents and no nearby parking on the streets around it. All in all it wasn't a bad hotel but it just wasn't that great.

This is the best room i have stayed in within this kind of setting. I booked a single budget room. It was brilliant. Very large room with a small double bed in it , much better than a single bed. Lovely bedding. Lovely spacious bathroom with fabulous products.no need to bring your own. Great brands of tea, coffee and biscuits. At breakfast i ask ed for mine to be cooked well done however it came back with pale bacon and sausage. All i ate was the egg. However their was lovely berries, greek yoghurt and toast with choice of jams etc. I would still recommend this place .

Very dog friendly.

The room was clean, excellent shower, comfortable bed, tea and coffee replenished every day. Parking was safe and easy. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice, the staff were always friendly, helpful and efficient.

Friendly staff and convenient location

Great, friendly staff and easy to park and the room was a good size for a single. Only marked as 3/5 as room was above the kitchen extractor fans which were only turned off between 9.30 - 6.00. So if you book as a single remember the earplugs! Would happily return but maybe check booking to ensure it’s not that end of the hotel. Gluten free options well catered for at breakfast but evening options are limited.

Great place for couples , family and anyone who wishes a great stay

Ample parking nice spacious room pleasant staff. Tasty and plentiful breakfast. Stayed for one night but would have been happy to stay longer. Highly recommended.

Parking was safe and secure. Room was very clean. The breakfasts were delicious. I can't say enough about the staff,they were brilliant, really friendly and very helpful .

Lovely inn with good food and lovely rooms. Only thing that let it down was a terrible shower (room 28)
