Had everything we needed, in a great spot, breakfast great, quite noisy in the room until the pub closed but to be expected when staying in pub rooms. Helpful staff, great pub. Water pump/drain system in the bathroom was really noisy but suppose this can’t be helped with old building like this.

Olde World quaint pub, large room with very comfortable bed and quality linen. Very old building so floor was very up and down, which added to the charm. Toilet used a macerator which had a mind of its own and set off randomly as you moved around, and was noisy. Cistern on toilet took an absolute age to refill, but none of this would stop us staying again. No staff around in the morning to tell about these problems?

A very enjoyable stay.Comfortable room & great location. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Onside parking very useful. Delicious breakfast.

Very noisy room all night, keys didnt work to get in and bathroom was not useable. Very expensive for what you got.

We stayed for one night and had a lovely time.The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean with all the modern amenities you would need, yet still kept all the character with the old wooden beams and undulating floors.It had easy parking, at the back of the pub, and was in the middle of the high street with all of its independent shops, pubs and restaurants. Thank you for a great stay.

Surprised by how big our accommodation was, more like an apartment! Extremely comfy beds, very clean, welcoming staff. Would definitely stay again.

Quaint old building.

The room was clean, properly equipped and given it's above a busy pub and in a very old building, it was warm and reasonably quiet. Nice meal in the restaurant in the evening. Good wine, food and setvice.

The bedroom was a wonderful, quirky room; spotlessly clean with the worlds most comfortable bed and pillows. We had a great couple of nights sleep in this quiet room. Although my preference is a shower the bathroom had a large corner bath which was good. The only slight downside was the rather noisy macerator fitted on the wastewater. The breakfast choice was excellent. The food was freshly made and very tasty. We had an evening meal one night which was also excellent. The presentation and service for all the meals was perfect. The bar had a jolly atmosphere with a fine range of local ales and wines. It was attended by a mixture of local people and visitors. There is a limited range of free on-site parking which I was lucky enough to take advantage of. I would gladly stay here next time I'm in the area and I'd recommend The Woolpack to anyone looking for a good value and comfortable place to stay.

Brilliant staff very helpful, room was very clean lots of tea , coffee ect Staff went above and beyond I would highly recommend Stay over for my Sons wedding very good atmosphere

Beautiful room with super comfortable bed and lots of space. We had a lovely evening meal here and enjoyed the English wine too. Great host as well. Parking easy

Quaint old building with modern facilities. Friendly and welcoming hostelry in a prime position. Breakfast offers wide choice of options and the quality of ingredients was impressive.

A very old property modernised tastefully but in a plain comfortable way, in a convenient location with very welcoming friendly staff.

Great place to stay in Tenterden. Traditional old building with lots of character. Nice big rooms

They were very accommodating, allowed us to leave the car and go off and do our thing. Nothing seemed too much for them

We met our friends here & booked 3 separate rooms. Overall the rooms were ok but all 3 bathrooms would benefit from having some grab rails as an extra safety feature. Our bathroom (Jake’s cider) was very compact & wasn’t well designed. The shower over the bath had no riser rail so the shower couldn’t be adjusted, it was easier to have a bath. Another room didn’t have a wardrobe even though there was room to place one.In the 3rd room, our friend didn’t feel safe to use the shower due to no grab rail. Having said that, the staff were generally good & food was of a decent quality. Car parking is available but the car park is also quite compact.
