城堡本身非常古老，环境也很幽静，室内摆设都极大保留了历史特色。酒店原则上不接受8岁以下儿童入住，我们带着一个4岁的孩子，虽然无法进入餐厅用餐，但是可以叫room service在房间吃早餐。早餐很丰富味道也很好。是一次很满意的经历。

非常好的感受，员工有礼貌很热情，前台美女很好，我们车坏了半夜到的酒店，还送三文治，晚餐也改成午餐。酒店是很有历史的古堡，满足了我们对四柱床的愿望。早餐很好吃，午餐很好吃。我们有机会会再来。

來英國至少要住一次城堡飯店!這間可是亨利八世住過的飯店!我們住的是伊莉莎白房間,很夢幻溫馨的閣樓房!最喜歡的是他的浴室,傳統的浴缸當陽光灑進來時超級夢幻的,一定要泡個澡才是真正的享受!早餐很豐盛且非常英式早餐,我們也體驗了晚餐,總之來這裡就是好好放鬆享受渡假的悠閒.

Great and memorable stay. The food was excellent, especially the dinner and I would rate this place 10/10. The staff were very friendly, helpful and went out of their way to assist us, showing great flexibility throughout our stay. The rooms were exceptional, truly beyond words. I have travelled extensively and stayed in many places and this is one of the best places we have stayed.

This is a beautiful property. We dined like royalty and the breakfast was very very good. Our restaurant waiter was very professional and did a great job describing the wine pairings. Our room was truly magnificent. We stayed in the queen Mary room. It was truly a bucket list item for me. The castle is a must do for history lovers and romantics.

Had a wonderful staff and as a coeliac they even prepared afternoon tea at short notice which was delightful. Once again was not let down in the evening with a Gluten Free menu and had a wonderful meal. My only criticism was at Breakfast no Gluten Free menu and the waitress was no very helpful just kept trying to push the avocado onto me as gluten free but I'm not a fan of avocado and felt like I wasn't a priority on my dietary needs so ended up with just fruit salad full of apple and yogurt and toast that was cold and tough. Otherwise our stay was perfect

The castle was a true castle and maintained well. The staff is every area we’re kind and friendly. This is a very nice place to enjoy adult only accommodations and my wife and I would stay here again if ever in the area. Food was also top quality and served as if you were at a 5 star restaurant.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was amazing. They bent over backwards to try to help are stay be the perfect experience. The food was great. The castle is truly an amazing place to stay. The grounds were immaculate as well.
I want to mention one of the staff, Kayla by name, for her superb customer service and help. Everyone there showed how much they valued their guests.
We would highly recommend Thornbury Castle to anyone who wants a very memorable stay.

This place is a hidden gem, we had the most amazing time and everyone was so friendly and kind, the bed was so comfortable it helped us with the jet lag, it was also fantastic that the room had a fan as we are use to sleeping with one at home. Breakfast and dinner were out of this world and we arrived 30 mins late to breakfast and they said no trouble and sat us immediately. We cannot wait to return and it was the perfect start to our anniversary trip!

The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows so weak they really could have been nonexistent.
The bathroom was nice and clean but the toilet had to be flushed a few times before it worked properly. The staff answered most of the questions we asked but offered nothing unless
asked. Charlotte and Leann (servers at bar) need
to find different work or take a course on customer service. It would have been nice to see a manager once in a three night stay. We never had dinner because it was just crazy expensive. We had breakfast three times which was very good. At check out they did not apply
our Expedia credit. We e-mailed them after and credit was given. Would not recommend and will not be returning.

We booked two rooms for a special occasion - we were allocated the Anne Boleyn and our daughter’s had the Audley rooms, both overlooking St Mary’s Church where we got married.
The staff were all very friendly and attentive, dinner in the library was fabulous and breakfast was perfect. We even had good weather.
Will definitely stay again
