Beautiful setting surrounded by water. Friendly & helpful staff. Spacious comfortable room & bathroom. Good vibes, bright, busy. We loved the terrasse and atmosphere.

Excellent view over the Norfolk broads. Bathroom very small not very accessible. No Air con, fan was provided but very hot.

Spotlessly clean. Extremely pleasant staff and very quiet. Oulton broad right outside. Very picturesque.

Staff very welcoming at reception, room looked a little tired, a very rusty radiator in the bathroom set the tone, ample parking, didn't have breakfast so can't comment but we did have the carvery which was delicious. Drinks were a little expensive, £12 for a pint of fosters and a small pinot. Wetherspoons not 2 far away hence the moan regarding drinks prices. we have visited many times before but now they are under new management. Location fantastic very central to lots of amenities.

Clean, comfy, small room. Staff were friendly and the hotel was well sited.

This Hotel is an old building. The room was modern and generally well-appointed, but the big problem was heat. The weather had been hot for some time and the first room I was given was unbearably hot, with two fans stirring the hot air around and the (South facing) window only able to open about 100mm. The carvery was good with a wide range of vegetables and meat carved for you. Breakfast was not included and I was disappointed at the one-cost for all, whether you only wanted a continental style or full English.

Great stay only gripe was having to pay extra for a latte

Welcoming helpful staff. Late-Afternoon meal needed re-cooking after not being cooked to requested quality. On return to hotel after a theatre show, found the bar already closing at 22:20 - rather early. Room was basic but clean enough. Bathroom radiator was very tatty, spoiling otherwise clean bathroom.

Charming visit and friendly staff.

We chose to stay here for our Sapphire wedding anniversary and surprise our friends who live here. I was informed that events were taking place so the room could be noisey but i never heard anything. Staff were very friendly our room was clean and tidy. Happy with our stay would stay there again. Cannot comment on the breakfast as we booked room only.

Room was moth ridden and smelt of damp. Needs investment to get up to scratch. Staff tried to be helpful but can see they have not been trained in customer service.

Our stay at the wherry hotel in oulton broads was fantastic, beautiful clean room so cosy, everything you need with toiletries are supplied in bathroom the staff are amazing they can't do enough for you to make you feel welcome they all went above and beyond during our stay, they all should feel so proud of themselves, this is our 3rd stay at the wherry hotel and will be booking another stay very soon, and with ample parking at the hotel there's no issues with parking, big thankyou to everyone at The Wherry hotel ☺️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We recently stayed in a king room overlooking the water and it was wonderful. The room and bathroom were both spotless . It was the hottest day of the year so the windows were already open before we got there along with a fan that I requested so the room was at a sleepable temperature. Breakfast was a buffet which we also really enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and I would definitely stay here again.

The staff were always helpful and always working hard, especially the lady who did the breakfast. Would stay again Well done to all.

Revisited this place after 5 Years Always loved the position of it over looking the lake and still do, it’s beautiful! Majorly of staff weee friendly,, polite and helpful, however this wasn’t the case upon leaving when I had to make a complaint about the overnight stay.Instead of waking feeling refreshed , I felt tired and drained, ruining the rest of my day.The room was positioned directly facing a roundabout. Continuously loud noise from people standing outside talking, shouting and the noise from the traffic. The pillow was so big and hard it hurt my shoulder.upon waking, an absolute dreadful night. When I informed reception, the lady apologised that I didn’t get a good night sleep, . No offer at all of any form of compensation,.not even a voucher for a free drink as a gesture of goodwill, Not a happy customer at all. Mostly disappointed as this was one of our favourite places to stay in Oulton broad , as have a lot of sentimental memories there. Regards Mrs Loomes from Kings Lynn

Cooked items weren't very hot scrambled egg was rubbery and milk for cereals was not cold. Evening meals were tasty and good value Staff very welcoming and eager to help. Parking excellent and no extra charge . Lovely view of the waterside when dining

Lovely place to stay

Good place to stay, close to the water.

Didn't have breakfast but the carvery in the evening was very good value for money and was nice and hot, unlike some other carvery's I could mention, parking was easy as you registered your car on arrival, would recommend staying for short breaks
