Had a great stay staff and service very good

Over all very good would go again only saying is could do with a few more staff on when busy with weddings

Food was good quality, bed was comfy. Hotel was under staffed, drinks are expensive and parts of the hotel are tired.

We really loved the hotel. However, our sleep was disturbed because of the heavy traffic. If I had known I would have requested a room at the back. The hotel was not full so I cannot understand why they did not put us at the back of the hotel. It was our anniversary so my wife's lack of sleep was not good. The breakfast was excellent. We hope to come back to see one of your tribute acts and stay. I will request a room at the back of the hotel!! Staff were excellent!! No tea or coffee in the room which is unusual for British hotels. Parking great!!

Nice and cozy enough for a wedding. Beautiful wedding location and reception area. The bar staff were very good. The room was too hot but had a fan which helped. The old wing of the hotel is really small and dated. Choose the new wing if possible. I wanted to book a day room on the day of the wedding and was informed that they only had full day availability. In the old wing. Expedia had the room rate at 119USD but front desk staff said if I booked it online I would have to pay an additional early check in fee of 50 GBP! Eventually I had to pay 169 GBP to secure the room that was much needed. Not good customer experience at all from this. I felt ripped off.

Great facilities.

This new hotel is popular for weddings. So be prepared for parties and (very) young children. I do not consider it a hotel for older people- there was no anti slip mat for the bath - I asked reception and was told we dont have any...(and apart from the accessible room) it appears that all bathrooms are shower over bath, no walk in showers, and there was no grab rail. Cleanliness was barely adequate. My room had bits on the floor and in the bathroom and there was spilled bits of food on the seating and floor in the dining room. Despite its new age there is no aircon and the fan is noisy. On the plus side, it is easy to find, plenty of parking and the staff are very helpful. Staff are young and I suspect management is not much better. My room was very hot, the bar and dining areas were actually cold and the 'perfume' in the air in the large reception area was quite overpowering. Sadly, not a hotel I would easily recommend but that is just my opinion. Read carefully and make sure it suits you before booking.

I had a lovely stay at Wildes inn mainly because the staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was great in the evening. Sadly there were a few other issues that affected the stay. The toilet broke and was not fixable over the weekend. The bathroom was not as clean as it could have been. The breakfast buffet was sparce by 9.30am and not restocked despite asking.

This was my second stay at the property. During my first visit, the room was modern, well-maintained, and up to date. I had a great overall experience, which is why I chose to book again. Unfortunately, this stay was a complete contrast. The room was extremely outdated, and the single bed was far too small for someone of my height. The lack of air conditioning, combined with only a small hatch-style window, made the room unbearably hot. The temperature was so excessive that it was genuinely uncomfortable to stay in. At check-in, the receptionist mentioned that the hotel was fully booked. I couldn’t help but feel this was said in anticipation of complaints about the room and to discourage guests from raising any concerns, knowing there was no possibility of being moved. Overall, this stay fell well below the standard I experienced during my first visit and was a very disappointing return.

No aircon in room it was like living in a greenhouse, one fan which was not enough, windows only opened a couple of inches just not enough, breakfast OK, but had much better in a 4 star hotel, parts of the bathroom were tired and needed a revamp. Had to leave a £50 deposit on arrival even though the room was paid for in advance, 10 days later I am still waiting for it back

Friendly staff, nice facilities.

Good air con. Plenty of parking extra at rear. Clean room. Lots of light switches but only 1 worked. No shelf in shower to stand anything on. Taps in sink not enough height to get kettle access. Corridor lit very dim a bit creepy for ladies on their own. Price of drinks in bar were extortionate. Lots of cameras in bar ceiling I counted 9 at least. No intention of taking our own drink but felt like Stalag 13 with cameras watching everyone. The wedding was excellent but not a place I would visit again to regimental.

The rooms was so hot, no air conditioning. Only in reception and event rooms. Rooms are basic. Bar prices are ridiculously expensive Wasn’t able to check in until 3:30 then had to wait as queue was long because only one member of staff working. Would not book again.
