Everything was perfect!

Leuk hostel, vriendelijke mensen, lekker ontbijt, leuke kamer en in een rustige buurt, mooi uitzicht over de stad. Barretje en zwembad. Helemaal af.

Yes but the pool is full of bacteria because the pool guy doesn't know how to take care of it properly. So my husband ....a pool technician is trying to show him.

My favorite place to stay in Accra. Everyone here is lovely and they really want to make you feel welcome. The location is wonderful as well! I've stayed in just about every room at Somewhere Nice and its always clean and comfortable. Also the food options are really good!

I was beyond impressed with this grand beauty. Firstly, it's more than just a hostel, the owners have managed to create something special. I had booked a private room, which came with heated water, a private balcony and considered sustainable decor to rival any expensive eco boutique hotel. More than anything, this place is an hidden oasis. I ended up staying 4 days!!!

Been staying here for years and always have a fantastic experience. The breakfast this time around wasn't up to the usual standard.

We had an amazing stay at somewhere nice! We were welcomed by each member of the staff with entire sincerity in their hope to make our time in Accra phenomenal. We were fed well, taught new games, and attended to beyond our hopes! Thank you.

Close to Kotoka International Airport,good hostel

Lovely property very vintage. The rooms are clean and staff are helpful. The bartender was very cool and made the stay comfortable.

The only thing is there was no locks for the doors . Which was a bit uncomfortable leaving my stuff in there .

ZImmerreinigung nach Aufforderung. Nicht alle Zimmer verfügen über warmes Wasser. Ansonsten ist das Hostel zum Wohlfühlen.

Frühstück war übersichtlich, aber ok, vor allem die Brötchen am Morgen. Personal war freundlich. Gefühl der Sicherheit im Hostel war gegeben. Toll waren die internationalen Begegnungen mit den Gästen.

Somewhere nice is fantastic. A really, really excellent hostel. The layout of the rooms and communal areas was great. Lots of space, good, wide ranging internet, airy rooms, good facilities. The success of good design and aesthetic is that it facilitates the community within. Everyone was so happy and gregarious, everyday friendships were formed and forged and expanded upon. The breakfast is incredible. So much fresh fruit, fresh baked bread, pancakes, eggs, porridge, nice coffee. The breakfast staff are wonderful. They always checking ones needs and are happy and singing with beautiful voices. I guess the most wonderful aspect are the staff. They are fantastic. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, great conversationalists and caring to a fault. Whilst i stayed a lovely young man had a bad bout of malaria and the staff helped him to the hospital, took him food and sat by him. I was really moved by this. I have worked in this industry for over 20 years and struggle to remember such acumen, professionalism and kindness. Like many i extended my stay and will return after further peregrination within the country.

This hostel is not cheap but is actually very good for a hostel of this sort in Accra, and had the added bonus that even though it didn't say we had booked a breakfast, everyone got a complimentary breakfast, and reasonably decent at that.
