Mycket trevligt litet hotell. Originell äldre inredning som känns väldigt hemtrevligt. Bra sängar och hög renlighet. Frukosten var trevlig. Värdinnan erbjöd omelett, toast, stekt ägg efter önskemål. Gott kaffe. Boendet är väldigt djurvänligt! Den lilla trädgården drog till sig kvarterets alla katter. Katterna var väldigt lugna och trevliga mot vår lilla hundvalp Wilma. Värdinnan skämde bort vår Wilma med finaste lamm-maten till frukost. Underbart ställe om man reser med husdjur. Läget är väldigt centralt. Mindre än fem minuters promenad till hamnen, samt den lilla stranden Plakes. Många fina matställen i närheten.

You need to book a stay at this hotel in your next trip to Skiathos! Our host Fifl was amazing, she upgraded our stay to the beautiful suite on top floor of the hotel with amazing huge balcony and views of the sea and town. She loaded our mini fridge with lots of different drinks 🍺. She really took care of us, felt very personable with us and gave great recommendations to people she knew in town. The included breakfast was also homemade and delicious 😋 our favorite stay of our Greece trip! We will definitely be back ❤️

Ett otroligt charmigt boende i gammal grekisk miljö i en av alla små smala gränder. Trevligt bemötande och rent o fint. Låt dej inte luras av att det endast är 2 *. Vårt femte boende på Skiathos o Skopelos men absolut charmigaste o vi återvänder gärna.

We loved our stay here! The staff was amazing and the property was in a great location. We loved spending time with all of the cats running around outside. I definitely recommend doing the breakfast option because it was exceptional both mornings!

what an absolutely amazing place to stay the staff were so helpful they could not do enough for the room was beautiful and the best thing of all was the breakfast more than we could ever have needed and so lovely and well presented in addition to this if you’re a cat lover, this is the place for you so many cats outside and please donate to the cat sanctuary

Great one night stay at Hotel Mato. Traditional old Greek house where the lady owner was so helpful and friendly. We had a room at the top of the house (up a spiral staircase) which had a spacious balcony with amazing views of the port. Lovely traditional Greek breakfast. The location is fantastic for Skiathos old town and the ferry port. Would recommend (as long as you like cats - she has tons them! )

Hotellet er autentisk græsk. Man bliver mødt af en lille gårdhave, hvor der er virkelig mange katte. Vores værelse var ikke helt klar, men det var værd at vente på. Vi top værelset nummer 10 med den mest fantastiske udsigt. Morgenmaden var fin.

The owner of this property is very sweet. We enjoyed our stay here because we aren’t too picky. However, you are greeted by around 8 cats that linger around property and the rooms itself are definitely not non-smoking. Very strong smoke smell, but that seems to be very common in Greece. EVERYONE SMOKES!! The location is great. Very close to town , port and all the nightlife. Parking is a beast. Took us 30 min to find a spot and then walked with all our luggage 15 minutes. But the rooms were clean and we were comfortable.

This is now our go-to place when we stay in Skiathos. Located in the Old Harbor area of the port, the hotel has a beautiful, old-style charm in its courtyard, lobby and dining/sitting room, and clean, fresh bedrooms and bathrooms, with charming modern furniture and fittings. Best of all, our wonderfully-kind hostess gave us a warm welcome and made us feel right at home. We just loved the entire stay... and next time we will plan on having breakfast there, because it looked divine, and we were very sorry we'd made other plans!

You need to book a stay at this hotel in your next trip to Skiathos! The owner of this property is very sweet. We enjoyed our stay here because we aren’t too picky.
