Shared house with other guest, No private toilet inside bedroom, only 2 toilets shared with 8 guest. Small bedroom. No greeting from households. Only get the key from key box.

房間小，浴廁共用只有兩間，客廳大的要死，但房間很小，老闆沒什麼耐心，住房規定ㄧ堆，沒停車場，性價比不高

赫芬是個可愛的小鎮，雖然四人房不大，浴廁及廚房客廳也要和別人共用，但在下大雨、雪的夜晚，主人很熱情的迎接我們，比較像guesthouse的概念，住家旁的風景透過窗戶看過去就像畫一般。不同於其他冰島旅店self check in ，冰川旅館hotels.com下訂完後沒有什麼確認資料，所以我們是當日需自己打電話聯絡主人，主人出現後才把鑰匙交給我們，介紹環境。

Glacier Inn is not a hotel, it is a home. It only has shared baths, but advertises as having private baths. The man who met us at the property was very rude. DO NOT STAY HERE!

This is not a hotel/inn. This is a four bedroom residential house converted for guests. There are two shared bathrooms even though we reserved a room with private bathroom. The room was small and just big enough for the two twin beds. No control over temperature and had to open window to cool room. We could hear people in the adjacent room. No TV in room. Luckily we only stayed for one night.

Positiv: Sehr schöne Lage, Parkplatz direkt beim Haus Negativ: Für drei Personen mit Gepäck etwas eng. Kontakt über Eigentümer bestand nur über Gegensprechanlage, keine Infos erhalten. Eingang zur frontseitigen Wohnung geht über Palettenstapel. WC-Türe lässt sich nicht richtig schliessen.

Hôtel.com mentionnait que cet établissement offrait une salle de bain privée (cela est indiqué sur ma confirmation de réservation reçue de hôtel.com). C’est faux, les salles de bain sont partagées. J’ai noté en lisant les commentaires que plusieurs autres clients se sont aussi fait avoir! Le propriétaire de le l’hôtel dit qu’il faut adresser la situation à hôtel.com, hôtel.com dit qu’il faut adresser la situation au propriétaire de l’hôtel. J’ai utilisé les services de hôtel.com une bonne vingtaine de fois au cours des dernières annees. Considérant leur manque d’imputabilité et leur très mauvais service que j’ai reçu suite à cette fausse représentation de leur part, je n’utiliserai plus jamais leur service.

Disappointed by the level of service from the owner. The woman checking us in was speaking to us through an intercom and didn’t come out to greet us. A little human interaction would have made our welcome much better. The price of the room is also ridiculous for a tiny space and shared bathroom. Try to avoid this place if you can.

This is not really a hotel. Our room opened to outside like a motel. The room was small, basic, clean and comfy. Perfect for an overnight stay.

Treated as a walking credit card by the hostess in a bleak B&B.

The place was clean and well kept.

Gedeelde keuken en kamer. Keukenaccessoires zijn beperkt aanwezig, prima kamer en bedden.

Clean property... could improve communications and directions.

La propreté est à revoir... (poussière sous le lit, évacuateur de douche bouché). Même si tout ne dépend pas directement de " l'hôtel ", il y a des choses à revoir.

It was a house shared by about 3 other groups. Basic but clean. We were able to cook a few meals there which helped cut down on cost. Going out to eat in Iceland is EXPENSIVE! Never saw the host but we checked in and out fine. The house is a little hard to find only because there is just a small sign on the door and not in the front of the house. It’s in a good location to sightsee around Höfn. We were satisfied with the accommodations.

Nice location and facilities for a quick overnight stay

This place is very misleading. First of all it’s more like a hostel than a hotel. It was very expensive and was just a small room with 2 beds and no private bathroom as stated in the description. It is actually a house that you share with others and not a hotel at all. There was nobody to check us in and it was not easy to get a hold of the owners. Sharing a tiny bathroom with 8 strangers was horrible. You can’t control the air temp in your room and it was SO hot. To cool it off you have to open a window (no screens) and the bed is directly below the window. No blackout curtains either. You can hear EVERYTHING in the rooms next to you. It was a horrible experience.

This hotel is house in what looks to be a residential neighborhood which is fine. It is a modest sized house with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms living and kitchen area. The bathrooms was nice but you had to dry the floors when finished. Still ok. Bedrooms was small still ok. But they had 14 people in this house one night and the other was 10 people some of which was small children and running screaming. Nice family but too many people for such a little house. They didn't change our ththe towels and linen like most places do when you stayed for multiple nights. That is something that always gets me.
