Choosing a hotel in Golaghat: town or Kaziranga?

Traveloka's Golaghat listings cover accommodation around Kaziranga as well as the wider district. The properties featured below are Kaziranga-area stays around Kohora, Bogorijuri, Bosa Gaon and Diring Bachagaon. They should be compared as bases for a stay in that area, rather than treated as hotels in Golaghat town or beside its railway station.

Within that selection, the useful differences are the rooms, outdoor space and hotel facilities. You can choose a balcony bedroom, a loft layout, a suite with a separate living room or a traditional cottage. A resort name or star category alone does not tell you which of those you are booking.

Balcony rooms and a loft at Iora Retreat Kaziranga

Iora Retreat Kaziranga, also known as IORA – The Retreat, is in Bogorijuri, with a Kohora postal address. Its Luxury Rooms have a king bed or two twin beds, occupancy for two and a furnished private balcony. A cushioned sofa, writing desk, air conditioning, mini fridge, coffee and tea facilities and WiFi make the room useful for time spent indoors as well as on the balcony.

The Supreme Room offers a different arrangement: wooden stairs lead to a loft with a floor bed, and the operator lists occupancy for three. It is worth comparing for travellers who need that sleeping layout, while taking the internal stairs into account. Iora lists an additional extra bed for a charge in these categories; it is a separate request.

The resort has a swimming pool with a swim-up bar and Retusaa Spa, which offers treatments along with steam and sauna rooms. Those are resort facilities, not features inside every bedroom, and a room booking should not be assumed to include a spa treatment.

Larger rooms and separate living space at Resort Borgos

Resort Borgos is in Sildubi, Kohora. It has an outdoor pool, dining, a spa, parking and laundry facilities. Its room selection makes it useful to compare when you want more space than a compact bedroom.

The Bagori King Room is 550 square feet for two guests, with a king bed, a sitting area and a private balcony facing the forest. Room amenities include a desk, a refrigerator, coffee and tea equipment and a safe. The Bagori Presidential Suite is 1,000 square feet and adds a separate living room and sitting area, while still being listed for two guests.

The distinction is space and layout, rather than an automatic increase in guest capacity. Choose the appropriate booking for the full party, including any agreed extra-bed arrangement. Breakfast inclusion belongs to the selected offer, even where the operator advertises breakfast with its direct room packages.

Balcony rooms and a pool at Finns Weaver Resort

Finns Weaver Resort Kaziranga is in Bosa Gaon, near Kako Gokhani Than. Its Bagan Mains rooms have air conditioning, private balconies, a smart television, a mini refrigerator and WiFi. Traveloka's room description also lists private shower bathrooms, desks and daily housekeeping.

The resort has an outdoor pool, a garden, a restaurant, parking and a lift. It is an option for a conventional hotel room with a balcony and leisure facilities at the property. Compare meal plans separately: the presence of a restaurant does not mean that breakfast or all meals are included in every room rate.

Traditional cottages at Nature Hunt Eco Camp

Nature Hunt Eco Camp is in Diring Bachagaon. Its operator describes traditional Assamese mud or bamboo houses in a setting with a small tea garden. It serves Assamese, Indian and continental food, making the cottage setting and on-site dining useful points of comparison with a larger resort.

Traveloka lists private bathrooms, WiFi, garden space and parking. Choose this property for its cottage-style accommodation rather than assuming that the words “eco camp” mean a tent, a shared bathroom or a particular environmental certification. It is a separate property from Habitas Rhino by Nature Hunt.

Match the room to the stay

Iora's Supreme Room answers a specific need for a loft sleeping layout; Borgos's Presidential Suite adds a separate living room. Finns Weaver combines balcony rooms with a pool, while Nature Hunt offers traditional cottage accommodation. Keep those differences alongside the address when comparing prices for your dates. A hotel room reservation also does not, by itself, include a safari, park admission or transfers.
