I really like the rooms, the gardens, the breakfast. The pool was not clean, very “foggy” sadly as on visits before this has been the best part with the pool bar. I hope they do something about it. It’s a bit worn down but I don’t mind that, the lawns, gardens and the whole property is very beutiful. Also not far to go to palolem if you want to see some crowd. Restaurants at dinner time was very empty. Love to come back but the pool really needs to be taken care of regularly.

Reasonable stay but not to the standard promised. Our room was large with sea view (through trees and past golf course) but it was quite dated. Breakfast was very poor; food generally was mediocre and over-priced. Hot and cold jacuzzis in spa were not working (allegedly due to maintenance but no work was being done). Most poor was that one of the four restaurants was not open; we were told that they only open it when they have enough bookings and that it serves the same food as another restaurant (this is not what it says on their website).

Slitet, stort, för stort. Sköttes inte helt bra, Frukosten var lite stökig och mest asiatisk. Men vissa dagar saknades knivar, andra dagar servetter. När man beställde till bordet kom inte allrid maten. Inga handhanddukar på rummet. Korten till rummen fungerade dåligt. Bra läge på en lugn strand. Hotellet har många aktiviteter. Men man måste gå till nästa strand för att hitta bra och prisvärda matställen. Det är dyrt på hotellet.

Top notch. Cuisine is a little expensive for the quality but you pay for ambience.

This hotel is advertised as 5-star but in reality feels closer to a 3-star property. We arrived late in the evening and received no welcome drink. When we asked to buy a beer, we were told it was too late, and staff appeared confused about whether the bar or restaurant was open. Being told to “run fast” to get a drink before the licence ended was not the level of service expected from a luxury hotel. The room was very outdated and poorly maintained. It felt unclean, with visible dust throughout, mould around the bath and shower, unreliable hot water, and extremely worn towels. Maintenance work was badly done, with paint and sealant marks visible. The minibar was locked, which was inconvenient. The hotel itself is in disrepair, including the swimming pool, which had missing tiles, rotting wood, and cloudy water. There is also a serious crow problem — they swarm the property, bathe in the pool, steal food, make constant noise, and even fly into rooms. Food and dining were another major disappointment. We ate once at Canacona restaurant and did not return due to poor food quality. We also went to Cortaz restaurant. It appeared dirty and poorly organised, with unattended dirty dishes and confused staff, so we avoided eating at the hotel entirely. Although the gardens are beautifully maintained, the private beach lacked basic facilities such as sunbeds and felt disconnected from the hotel. This is more like a 3 star hotel not 5 star at all.

Rena rum, trevlig personal, maten är bra. väldigt fint runt om. Hotellet är lite nedgånget för vad det kostar.

It’s very good experience

Not so good. Breakfast spread was average.

Not as clean as expected. Billing experience was terrible. They admitted inaccurate charges and returned 11K in cash, but that took a lot of waiting. Not only one, all three rooms were charged extra knowingly, seems like a regualar practice.

Management booked a movie shoot while we were there. They were given access to all the facilities - including the pool - which were blocked from the guests. Such poor planning at the expense of guests.

Waste of such a beautiful property! Slightly dated but has a great potential if managed well! The staff is untrained and unprofessional! I came here for a quiet time after 4 days in Taj panjim and I am not impressed at all! The rooms are decent size but was not cleaned well before I checked in! The bedside tables were sticky with sugar syrup! didnt get hot water on both days! The breakfast spread is decent but poorly managed! The live station are in the center of the room with the other spread surrounding it! So guests wanting eggs or fruits have to be in same line! The glass water bottle was not cleaned and had black marks at the top! Pic attached! The staff at the reception didn't know what time the restaurants are open when I wanted to go to OKO for dinner, he said it's open only for lunches whereas someone else told me it's open by the time I had a boring dinner at their Canacona restaurant! The bar was empty which is understandable but serving a 2-3 days stale wine is not acceptable! The guy did not bother to open a new bottle for a glass of wine! Other 5 star hotels would have gone over and beyond! Equally untrained staff at the reception and all restaurants! The shack had no shack vibes! Ordered chicken cafreal and the chicken was not fresh! Ordered pasta for dinner in room and they sent french fries! Therapy room in the spa had no spa vibes! Just a room with a wobbling massage bed in the center!
