I had a wonderful stay in this hotel. While I was sick, the front desk staff (Chandrani?? forgot her name) asked me for a few times about my condition and offered me some honey and ginger tea because of my cold. The room service staff also offered plenty of water and emptied my already full trash bin once they receive such a request. The room is very very decent and reaches its 5-star quality as said. The breakfast, though with limited main dish choices, was clean and well presented. Almost every staff in the hotel was very nice and helpful and I can't name any incident that I was unhappy with anyone, as in other Indian hotels.
The hotel is not closest from the metro but you can get a taxi easily. There is also a very nice restaurant on its street and several ATM machines nearby. Wished I was physically fine enough to try its SPA! Would be happy to see if they can share the quotes of Mark Twain or Rudyard Kipling how they commented this hotel. (or even photos of HM QE II or Gandhi) and that would make the stay with this hotel even more historical.
Should have offered to ask if the guest wants a heater as well, as the A/C doesn't include a heating function (I forgot to ask as well).
