well, extremely convenience to Ubud city center...... the hotel provides free shuttle service between hotel and Ubud city center til 10pm....... just simply give them a call n tell them where you are, the hotel shuttle bus goes to the location to pick you up....... btw, we enjoy the outdoor showers in room 202, and 203. they.......the access between two rooms is also great........ if you travel with kids, the sofa hotel provides in the room solving the problem of extra beds for kids....... we love its stylish and historical building.......

Ibah is a very special place in Ubud, right near the Campuhan bridge and the start of the Campuhan Ridge walk. It feels like a special sanctuary away from the traffic and heat. We stayed in an Ibah suite which was accessed by quite a few stairs (if that is an issue), The room was spotless, bathroom huge (including a bath) and an enormous terrace out the front with couches & coffee table for relaxing. (the slight markdown for cleaning was only because there was evidence the local wildlife had been quietly enjoying the terrace at night) The breakfast each morning in the restaurant was excellent with great choices, the pool area was sensational, with intimate cave like areas to relax, a separate area below, with great service for drinks etc. Also afternoon tea was provided daily. The staff were very attentive and happy to engage. We used the laundry service which was very efficient and inexpensive. We are so glad to have had the opportunity to stay at this unique and wonderful hotel.

Rooms are large and clean, property is well maintained and staff is friendly! Location can’t be beat - you’re in the heart of Ubud but nestled away in the jungle away from traffic and can only hear the soothing sounds of the river and jungle.

Our stay at the Ibah Hotel was truly exceptional. The warmth, kindness, and dedication of the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Every team member was hardworking, attentive, and genuinely committed to ensuring guests had a wonderful experience. The food was outstanding, the ambience was peaceful and elegant, and the facilities were excellent throughout our stay. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and a sense of tranquility, Ibah offers a unique blend of comfort, culture, and hospitality. We would highly recommend Ibah Hotel to anyone visiting Ubud and look forward to returning in the future.

How can you not love Ibah? As one of the oldest resorts in Ubud, along with the legendary Pita Maha, Ibah has aged with grace. Its history does not make it feel outdated; instead, it adds a sense of class, comfort, and quiet dignity that newer resorts often struggle to recreate. What is especially impressive is how well the property has been maintained and upgraded without compromising the natural character and charm that come with age. You constantly see staff caring for the grounds and facilities, which makes it clear that the resort continues to invest seriously in preserving its beauty and quality. The service is also among the best you will find: warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. The location is equally unique. Ibah is still close enough to the center of Ubud village, yet it sits near the entrance to several walking and hiking trails that lead to the rice fields and scenic views that many people come to Ubud to experience. If you want to truly experience Ubud, Ibah is the place to stay.

The book was out of date so when I booked a tour, I still had more to pay for when I arrived. They admitted that tour in the book has not been available since January and it's May now. The food is hit or miss. Overall really gorgeous and incredible property, short walk to Ubud main area and very quiet next to the jungle. Pool is a fun shape, but impossible to swim any laps in because of it and with the mix up on tours, food being just so-so, for the price tag of this place, I really expected better. So leaving at 4/5 stars. Will probably stay somewhere else next time.

Very nice

A magnificent piece of true Bali. One complaint only, the bath amenities are poor. My wife has long hair. Shampoo was fair but conditioner was very very poor quality. Staff was kind and amazing, food was excellent, pool is beautiful, spa is fantastic and the massage therapy out of this world. When we come back to Bali, we will return here!

2ベッドルームプール付きヴィラに家族4人で5泊。ホテル全体的な雰囲気がこれぞウブド、で満足度高。 お湯もちゃんと出るし、リネンも清潔、ダイニングは朝昼晩（昼と晩は1-2回）食べましたが、どれを食べても美味しいです。 ウブドセンターに歩けるロケーションなのに喧騒を感じさせず、かといって山奥すぎたキャストアウェイ感も無くてバランスがとても良いと思いました。 バリ島では過去にThe Legian、コマネカ、ピタマハに宿泊しましたが、スタッフのホスピタリティ、ホテル全体の雰囲気含めてIBAHが一番良かったかもしれません。ウブド宿泊はこれからIBAHだけでいいかも、と思ってしまうほど好きになりました。

A beautiful hotel located on a very convenient spot for walking to Ibud downtown.

2ベッドルームプール付ビラに5泊。朝食は10程度のメニューからその日の気分で選べて味も満足。ここはこじんまりしているためか、スタッフのホスピタリティが非常に良く色々お願いしても何でもにこやかに対応してくれます。ウブドでは過去パタマハ、カユマニスにも滞在しましたが、ここがウブドでは自分ベスト。

Gorgeous location, beautiful room, friendly, helpful staff.

Beautiful hotel in the “old” Bali style that has been wonderfully designed and set in an oasis of lush green calm. Room was very spacious, comfortable and spotless. Bed was large with sumptuous linen & pillows. Above all, the staff are delightful, always smiling and extremely attentive in a very gentle way.

We stayed in a suite at Ibah Ubud during our trip to Ubud from December 24–27, 2025, and truly enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The location is exceptional and, in our view, ideal for exploring both central and suburban Ubud. The resort is within comfortable walking distance of central Ubud, including major attractions, excellent restaurants, and the Ubud market. At the same time, it sits just outside the busiest core, which means you are spared the noise, congestion, and dust of the town center. Being at the edge of downtown also makes logistics much easier—our tour driver was able to pick us up without getting stuck in Ubud traffic. One afternoon, we even walked the Campuhan Ridge Walk, returned to the resort for a refreshing shower, and then headed back into town to enjoy the evening. It’s a perfect base if you want to explore nature (rice terraces, waterfalls, scenic hikes) during the day and stroll through town in the evening—a truly ideal rhythm for tourism in Ubud. Staying at the resort itself feels like living in paradise. The property is surrounded by lush trees, flowers, and beautifully landscaped paths, yet offers modern, clean, and comfortable shower and dining facilities. Importantly, the photos on the website and those shared by other travelers are not exaggerated—what you see is exactly what you experience. We booked a suite, which is tucked behind a secluded garden, reached via a forest path adorned with statues. The suite features a lovely patio with a couch

The most amazing setting for a hotel - walking to our room from reception was like being in a botanic garden! The staff were all friendly and helpful and the food was good (best satay sauce ever!). Ubud is very busy but as you walk down the drive to the hotel the traffic noise fades and you start to hear birds, frogs, buzzing insects and the faint sound of the river below. It’s hard to believe it’s just a 15-20 minute walk into the centre (though you can get a free shuttle every couple of hours during the day which is great!

Great zen atmosphere, immersed in nature and traditional Balinese architecture- truly relaxing and luxurious! Easy walk to downtown, and campuhan ridge walk through the jungle. Highly recommended!
