Parking was easy and plentiful. Rooms are dated and the bathroom we had was incredibly small. Had to bend around sink to use toilet. Breakfast was very nice with several cooked to order options. Beds and pillows need replacement.

John, the owner and operator of this B&B was very welcoming and accommodating during our 3 night stay. Our room, #2, was charming (older) and very clean. We had a private bathroom and our window faced the road and offered a beautiful, pastoral view of the green fields, local horses, and far-off lakes. Breakfast (from 8:30 - 10:00 am) was delicious with eggs, link sausage, ham, porridge, breads, yogurt, etc. Parking was plentiful and only steps away from the entrance to the B&B. I recommend this place for a restful stay!

Building is old, bedsheet with smell. Double room is tiny but bigger bathroom, 2 twin beds ‘ room is more spacious but small bathroom. No shampoo/shower gel provided in our 2 twins bathroom. Breakfast is good, staffs are friendly.

Check-in person had difficulty with English. Ran put of toilet paper. No one to talk to until the next morning. Photo on Hotels.com misleading. B&B is not the building in the center of the picture. It is the building with the little red door to the right.

I loved my stay here. The staff and owner were wonderful. Breakfast was fabulous everyday.

Parking was close and safe. Breakfast was yummy and fresh. Host was very helpful.

Super séjour au Castlehouse B&B dans le Connemara ! L’emplacement est vraiment incroyable, en pleine nature avec une vue magnifique sur les montagnes et pas loin de la mer. C’est parfait pour explorer le parc national et les alentours comme Kylemore Abbey. Le gros point fort : l’accueil. John est extrêmement sympathique, toujours prêt à donner des conseils et à aider pour organiser les visites. On se sent vraiment comme à la maison. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent, copieux et fraîchement préparé, typiquement irlandais. Les chambres sont simples mais confortables et propres, avec beaucoup de charme dans cette maison ancienne. En résumé : ce n’est pas un hôtel moderne de luxe, mais une expérience authentique, chaleureuse et très bien située pour découvrir le Connemara. Je recommande sans hésiter !

Tres bon accueil de John et Marion! Chambre avec vue sur mer. John nous a conseillé pour les visites et nous a fait de trds bon petits déjeuners. Nous avons passé 3 belles journees dans le connemara, le B&B est tres bien situé pour les visites. Nous conseillons!! Et gardons l'adresse pour un prochain séjour.

Our visit to Tully, Renvyle was the Ireland I wanted to experience. The drive through Connemara to get there was unforgettable, and once we arrived we were great with a small village right on the sea. We misread the arrival instructions, so we only gave John a 30-minute warning but he was ready for us when we arrived. Parking was free and just alongside the B&B. We arrived with time to have a beautiful walk to the beach. There is a small shop across the street from the B&B with friendly staff and everything we needed. Our room was so comfortable and cozy and we had an amazing view of the sea. My 76-year-old mom hadn't really slept at all on the trip, until our time at Castlehouse. The beds were comfortable, the sea air was a gift and our room was nice and warm. She had the best sleep she'd had in a long time. The B&B is are renovated home and so charming. The room was clean and had it's own bathroom. There is virtually no noise. Breakfast in the morning was in a beautiful dining room. The food was excellent and they easily accommodated my vegan diet. John and his staff were so friendly. For those visiting Kylmore Abbey, Castlehouse is about a 15 minute drive away. We spent a fabulous day at the Abbey (they have amazing food! ) and then drove to the B&B for the evening.

Very comfortable place to stay close to the water. Nice breakfast.

John is a great host. He gave us several recommendations that worked out great! Our room had a view of the ocean. In my opinion you can’t get better than that. The location was fantastic for touring the area. We stayed 3 nights.

Friendly manager makes you feel welcome and provided excellent dinner recommendation. The drive to this place was beautiful.
