Surprisingly nice hotel not too far from town. The rooms were top notch.

Stayed here for one night, was really looking forward to the stay as had been reccomend, it was a Sunday and pub was full and noisy with mostly non residents which wasn’t an issue for me but might be for others if looking for a quiet stay. The Rooms are very very basic and extremely outdated but clean. Old carpet on floor and musty smell from curtains. There is a really potent air freshener sprayed in rooms and on hotel floor which if you are sensitive to smell like i am could be a problem. I was on the basement level so was extremely noisy throughout the night and morning from 5/6am i think it was guests who were staying over there for work and up early and leaving. The leisure centre is extremely outdated and and has a lot of public usage, there is also ground floor being used for RSA which is road service authority in ireland. Because I was on ground floor and lots of people around I didn’t entirely feel safe in room. I’m conscious hotels have to have different revenue streams but it was disappointing as a wellness break i booked the trip for. If you are looking for a low cost stay for a work or maybe even somewhere for large groups i think it would be well suited, but for solo travel and wellness breaks maybe not the best suit! Staff were friendly & helpful though!

The room was ok, very dated. Check out was 12 noon but we were woken up at 9am with loud music. I contacted reception to complain after 10am but I didn't get any satisfaction. Apparently music exams were taking place near our room and the receptionist more or less asked me what I expected her to do. Totally unacceptable. We paid for a room and expected to be able to have a sleep in without interruptions.

Enjoyable break friendly staff,clean rooms ,good hotel pool and gym .In good spot for nearby dun laoghaire and smooth road out of area for travel to Bray and the beauty of County Wexford

Room was large and very clean. We only stayed one night. Good price too.

All the staff we met were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was good with a great choice of food and all well-cooked and hot Parking on site was safe and convenient.

Would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff were really friendly and the hotel was immaculate. Unlike other hotels the breakfast was cooked to order and tasted great. We had an evening meal there too which was also lovely. We used the swimming pool too and the underground parking facility meant we didn’t have to worry about finding a place to park. If we come back for another trip to Dublin, we would 100% stay here again.

This is our third stay at Rochestown Lodge. Another excellent stay, the hotel is kept very clean and tidy. Our room was very spacious, and the bathroom was beautiful. The food in the restaurant was excellent, with plenty of choice. The staff in all areas were helpful, polite and nothing was too much trouble. Even though the hotel was pretty busy, we had no issues with parking, there were plenty of spaces. We didn’t use the Spa facilities so cannot comment on that area. We will certainly return for another visit.

Very helpful staff. Breakfast was very nice. Room a little small for 2 beds. Would have preferred the full was a queen.

The room was spotless and quiet. Breakfast hit the spot though a bit of improvement on the coffee wouldn't go amiss.

The room was lovely! We really appreciated free parking. It was about a 25 minute drive from downtown Dublin.

The only downfall was at times we were unable to enjoy the swimming pool as when more than 3 people in big pool it is classed as busy and kids not able to go into big pool. With the breakfasts they ran out of croissants and waffles. The last 2 days of our stay kids were unable to get croissants and last day they ran out of waffles. The breakfasts are lovely and very tasty but unfortunately this is our second time staying at this hotel and both times they have ran out of stock for breakfast. The staff themselves are so friendly and helpful and do what they can to help or make your stay better. Can not fault them at all.
