It was an amazing experience. Right across from The Trevi Fountain. Breakfast and delicious cappuccino every morning on the top floor with the front row view. The staff are warm and welcoming.

This was my third time staying at Hotel Fontana and it is my absolute FAVORITE hotel in Rome. Breakfast is delicious, the beds are comfortable and it is directly in front of the Trevi Fountain, making it the perfect central point in Rome. Every single person that works there is so kind, especially Maria upstairs. We will continue to come back to this hotel every time we stay in Rome! Don't forget to order a Limoncello Spritz from the bar upstairs!

Boutique hotel in an older building. Nice big room with new and clean bathroom. Staff very helpful. Breakfast spread was very good as was the service. Aperitivo overlooking the fountain was generous - prices comparable to high end places nearby.
Location in front of Trevi fountain very convenient with amazing views but that comes with crowds and noise so not for you if you are looking for peace and quiet ( but this is Rome in July!)
They were very helpful in arranging a taxi (legit with sign and all) to the airport- the usual rate is 55 Euros; we were told 60 ( and agreed) but at the airport the driver demanded 65 E. This is nothing to do with the hotel but beware.

Was in 307 which was ok but the lounges bathroom was beside me. All I heard was the toilet flushing and people talking while waiting for the bathroom. I guess most people are out of room but I’m a solo traveler with early starts at 5 am for my trip to Florence. I guess a Friday night is the lounges busy nite.

The hotel overall is nice and you have views of the Trevi that are wonderful. I loved being able to sit at my window and look at the Trevi for a while. The AC is pretty good too. However, I can’t overlook the black mold that was growing in the bathroom, it was clear it’s been there for a while (I investigate property insurance claims, including mold) and there was more growing. Breakfast was pretty good too, loved the bread they had. Bar was overpriced. If the mold is fixed I would give 5 stars. Staff were very nice.

The location was excellent, right in from of the Trevi fountain but just know what you are getting. Location was loud, we Heard people all through the night until the morning. Be prepared for the location to be loud 24/7.
The staff was NOT friendly. Asked for change, extra water the the staff blew us off.

The toilet only flushed occasionally. The elevator wasn’t wide enough to fit a child’s wheelchair. The entrance was very hard to get into. The fridge was not very cool. The door got stuck and we always had to bust through to get in. He shower was tiny even for a child. It was so noisy at night.

Very dirty, we didn’t stay. No refund, but no way I’d stay there. The ceiling fan was so loud about to fall out of the ceiling. Check in was a nightmare. Couldn’t get a key for power to the room. Needs A LOT of updating and cleaning.

Excellent hotel directly in front of Trevi Fountain. Rooms were typical small european. An adjustment if you are from the US. Air conditioned, elevator and an Excellent staff. The staff is what puts this hotel above others. From the front desk to the maids, every interaction with staff was Excellent. It's obvious they care about their guests and is reflected in the service I recieved. Would definitely go back.

Horrible ! Supero viejo , sucio , las sabanas Audis , la comida ok, pedi por una plancha y no tenían , lo único bonito que tiene este hotel es la vista de la Fontana , tan caro y no hacen unos arreglos
En la noche no puedes dormir porque llega gente borracha a festejar y gritar abajo de la Fontana , y la ventana tiene las peores cortina’s entra la luz horrible

Hotel were over booked and they try to lie different reasons what they did not have the room for us, reasons varied from fullbooking to toalet problems. We made reservation several month ago, so that was extremely dissapointing for us.
Gladly we got another room from hotel near by- Boutique Hotel Trevi-, that hotel was extremely good in all the categories.

The hotel is run down and the furnishings are old. Faded curtains, thin mattress. Shower moldy. Very very small room with very little room to keep luggage, lack of floor space. They have no iron or steamer and no coffee or hot water kettle in the rooms. The location is central and good for visiting other areas. However, the Trevi Fountain is so crowded, you have to fight to get in and out of the hotel each time. The breakfast was average (nothing hot), but the breakfast ladies were super friendly. Lots of fruit and fresh juice. The view from our room and the breakfast room was amazing! However, people visit the Trevi at all hours of the night. It was very noisy and hard to sleep. I had to use ear plugs each night for the outside noise. The Trevi guards are whistling all day long for people not to sit down on the ledge and the whistle is annoying after a few minutes in the room.
