如同飯店的主題，就像是「住在藝術品裡」，但基本的設備依然俱全，衛浴空間也很有餘裕，唯一較可惜的是吊掛衣物的地方較小，且行李放置的位子會稍微需要考慮一下。
飯店的地點鄰近四條河原町，因此無論是購物、經典或是交通，一切都很方便。
店員態度親切且英文流利，飯店一樓同時也是一間bar，櫃檯則設在稍微裡面一點，但因為氣氛舒適，check in時請不用顧慮，直接走到裡面即可。

I entered the room and was awestrucked that we were greeted by the numerous five yens that were glued on the wall, ceiling, floor, all over the room. They also offered 2 five yens in the room with tools for guests to glue them to the wall to add to the artwork. Air-con temperature was nice and moisted, sound proof was well done as can’t hear much when room is facing the street. Room size is bigger than usual, location is about 7-mins walk from city center. Only down side was no bathtub in the room.

It's an arty hotel with great exhibition, the room itself and the common area display great artworks.
What I love about the room is the Kamo River that it overlooks at. It's very soothing. Night walk by the river is very pleasant, also one of the main reasons that I chose to stay with BnA.
The staff are very friendly and considerate. There were two restaurants that I wanted to try but couldn't be booked online. Since I don't speak Japanese, I asked the staff to call and make reservation for me. They took detailed notes. We were back and forth many times through emails. I deeply thank them for their patience.
The smoking room by the reception provides a sketchbook to leave some notes. You can see interesting comments from people of the world.
Would love to stay and experience other rooms.

Great place to stay during our quick trip to Kyoto. Staff was pleasant and extremely helpful. The hotel had interest since it had a gallery, displayed & sold local art. Loved the view from our room that looked towards Gion and only a 30 minute walk to the area. Hotel was nicely situated across the street from 7-11 and about 10 minutes from great shopping and eateries.

We stayed a week at this hotel. The room was clean and looked very nice. It was a bit on the smaller side, but with a big bathroom including bath & shower. The location is great, within a short walk to Gion and Kyoto’s city center. It is also well connected to all other sights through public transports. We had the breakfast included with our room. All breakfast options were very good, but after a week we were starting to hope for variety. Finally, the staff was very kind and helpful!

Cool art hotel where each room is unique and is designed and created by the artist itself. The reception is an art gallery and has a bar where cocktails are inspired by the different rooms. The location is close to all central attractions but is still in a peaceful area. The staff and management is very attentive and helpful. Strongly recommended hotel.

Very strange concept hotel. We booked run of the house so got a random room. Rooms was very nice but didn't have some basics that other hotels did.
We got a free drink on check in so we got a cocktail which was very nice and the bar had very good quality drinks. The staff were approachable and very helpful. Bar staff very knowledgeable. Definitely has a nice vibe overall.
We also got them to deliver our baggage to our next hotel which was a very reasonable price
