It was an amazing experience to stay here. Traditional ryokan in such a beautiful setting. The staff was super friendly and nice, too.

Lovely ryokan. We didn’t take the meals, and they were served in a dining area, not in the room. But the staff informed us of the early closing hours of locals restaurants and izakaya, and they booked tables for us at both, which was very helpful.
They picked us up and dropped us off at the bus stop on arrival/departure.
The room was spacious, very clean, with a large window looking out over the forest.
I really loved their onsen which is on a balcony, looking at forest and the night sky, it was a mild temperature, not as hot as many onsens, but very nice.
The staff were very helpful and pleasant.
Onsen hopping in Kurokawa Onsen was one of the trips highlights.

ご飯もおいしいし部屋も綺麗ですごくよかったです 接客も感じよかったしとてもよかったと思いました ただ露天風呂が階段みたいになってて 風呂の色が茶色ぽいので下が見えないて危ないと感じました

Food was expensive but worth it. Bath is room was excellent. Shared bath was mostly empty (male) and serene.
