Very clean hotel. Super friendly staff. Nice environment. Super nice breakfast, that u cannot miss that. Bicycles that u can rent for to explore the city.

位置非常好，客房舒服，在仙同宮和住宅區中，非常接近當地人的生活，卻又離主要街道不遠，員工非常友善，環境舒服，wifi比想像中好，早餐豐富，spa不怎麼樣，但是下次仍會選擇入住

The complimentary airport shuttle worked fine and was very convenient. Lovely welcome and ugrade to a Lotus suite, as I stayed for five nights. Very helpful and kind staff. Premises are well maintained, rooms are very clean and air condition and fans work fine. An absolute recommendation!

We love this hotel. This hotel used to be the house of the last king and queen of the Kingdom Laos. We were greeted directly at the Luang Prabang Train Station by the hotel's complimentary shuttle, a thoughtful and welcoming gesture ;) The location was beautiful right by the Mekong River. The location was in the heart of everything and we walked pretty much every where. The view from our room was beautiful and we certainly enjoyed it. The grounds were immaculate and very well taken care of. The service was amazing and at the reception -receptionist India was so sweet and helpful. She took the time to talk to us and made us feel very welcome. Lovely breakfast included with Laotian food and fresh fruit, eggs, baguette, jam, meats, coffee/tea. If you’re a coffee lover , there are some great coffee shops on the river and Main Street a couple of minutes away. The rooms are quite big, clean, and have nice balconies.Very comfy bed! I can confidently say that this one offers the best value for your money. The rustic balcony provides a charming view of the Mekong River and incredibly quiet. Hotel staff are extremely polite and professional and always greet you with a warm smile. From the front desk staff to the breakfast staff, everyone was so welcoming. I'd highly recommend Victoria Xiengthong Palace hotel for its peaceful atmosphere, beautiful views, and excellent service. A great choice for a relaxing stay in Luang Prabang! This hotel truly deserves 5 stars!

Beautiful hotel, great location, delicious breakfast.

The hotel staff could not have been kinder or more helpful. The hotel is located on a quiet street across from the Mekong and in the old quarter - peaceful and relaxing! We booked a villa because we were three adults and it was perfect. Simple, clean and very comfy! We would definitely stay here again.

This was my first time visiting Luang Prabang, and it turned out to be a truly wonderful trip. One of the main reasons was the warm hospitality of the hotel staff. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine smiles, and thanks to the flexible and attentive service provided especially by the male and female reception staff, I was able to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay with complete peace of mind. During my stay, there was a small issue, but it was resolved very quickly and professionally. I had to ask the reception staff for assistance several times, and each time they responded promptly and kindly with a smile, for which I am truly grateful. While the town center can often be crowded with tour groups and quite busy, this hotel was quiet, free from group tourists, and located in a peaceful area. It allowed me to fully appreciate the true charm and tranquility of Luang Prabang. I would definitely love to stay here again.

My partner and I stayed at Victoria Xienthong Palace in December 2025 and had a wonderful experience. The hotel’s location is excellent—within easy walking distance of key attractions such as Wat Xienthong, the morning and night markets, and the old town centre of Luang Prabang. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and eager to help. On our departure day, as we had an early flight, the team thoughtfully prepared a very generous takeaway breakfast for us and also provided complimentary airport transfer, which we truly appreciated. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a well-located property that is close to major sightseeing attractions yet peaceful enough for a restful night’s stay.

I booked massage there but it didnt discount 15 % as shown reservation sheet, elsewhere staff were brilliant and very nice!

Our stay at Victoria Xiengthong Palace in Luang Prabang was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome — a refreshing drink and a damp towel — set the tone for a truly relaxing and gracious stay. The hotel itself effortlessly combines royal-palace charm and modern comfort. Our room was beautifully furnished in rich teak wood and traditional Lao-style textiles, giving a sense of heritage and elegance. The bathroom — complete with tub and separate shower — and the comfortable bed made our stay very luxurious. We especially enjoyed the cooking class and the sunset cruise organised by the hotel — both were well-organized, delightful and gave us a wonderful taste of authentic Lao culture. The cooking class was a great way to learn how to prepare traditional dishes, and the setting for the sunset cruise was magical. The staff deserves special mention: kind, genuinely welcoming and attentive to every wish. We felt taken care of from arrival to departure, which made the stay even more special. Location is perfect — peaceful and quiet, yet just a short stroll from the old town, near the river and close to the bustling night market and charming cafés. All in all, Victoria Xiengthong Palace offers a flawless blend of heritage, comfort, and warm Lao hospitality. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here — it is a true gem in Luang Prabang, and I would stay here any time again.

Room was generally good. Yhe room is a little dated and fittings was older. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is on the quiet end of town not far from the action.

朝食が川を眺めながら、外で食べることができて良かったです。オムレツがとても美味しく、作っている姿を頼んで見せてもらったほどです。欧米人が私ももここのオムレツが美味しい。夫婦で2個目だよ。とおかわりしていました。ベトナムのフォーみたいなフーも美味しかったので、朝食は特にこのホテルにして良かったです。 街の治安も良く歩いて観光できますが、チェックアウトした後も自転車を貸してくれて、助かりました。 唯一残念だったのは、シャワーを浴びながら、バスタブのお湯を張れない所。どちらかのようでした。ても、ラオスだし、こういうものかなと許容範囲でした。時期かもしれませんが、この素晴らしい部屋と素敵な朝食と空港送迎付きで1万3000円で、満足しています。 他の王族住居ホテルも気になり、泊まりましたか、お値段はその2.5倍のため、次回来る時はここをメインにゆっくり滞在しようと思いました。

I stayed at Victoria Xiengthong Palace for 3 nights and had a truly memorable experience. The pre-arrival communication was smooth, and the complimentary airport transfer made the arrival stress-free. My room was very clean with beautiful Lao-style interior design, which gave me a real sense of the local culture. The staff were attentive and always thoughtful, which made me feel very welcome. Breakfast was à la carte with several options to choose from, so I never got bored even after 3 mornings. The hotel is located right next to the UNESCO World Heritage temple, which makes the atmosphere especially calm and quiet both day and night. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay in Luang Prabang, I highly recommend this hotel.

いい古さです。古いですが、キレイに掃除がされておりいい気持ちで過ごせました。街の雰囲気にあっていい感じでした。スタッフの笑顔が素敵なホテルです。中心地からは少しだけ歩きますがすぐ横にとても有名なお寺があり、朝に気軽に訪ねることができました。

トラブルで到着が深夜2時頃になってしまいましたが、事前に連絡したところ、調整して到着を待っていてくださいました。 ホテル内も綺麗で雰囲気が良く、リラックスさて滞在できました。 本当にありがとうございました。

2度目のルアンパバーン旅行で、前回はメコン川を渡った所のホテルだったので、町へ出るために、毎回怖い橋(old bridge)を通るのが辛かった。 今回のホテルは市街の中心にあるので、どこへ行くのも徒歩で間に合い、郊外の村(紙漉き村、機織り村)へはホテルから自転車で50分くらいで行かれた。

We sure enjoyed our stay at the Victoria Xiengthong. The location was near most local attractions. The staff was very attentive to our well-being. Additionally, we were grateful to a surprise upgrade to a wonderful suite. We’d certainly use this facility for our next travel.
