La habitación limpia. El hotel tiene lo básico para tu estancia. Yo fui a una boda y solo lo requería para dormir y estuvo perfecto. Lo único es que cuando hice la reservación decía que el desayuno estaba incluido y cuando salimos una persona del staff nos dijo que ella tenía la orden de que teníamos que pagar. Pero de ahí en fuera bien. Ana la del deskfront muy linda

El personal que trabaja ahí es super amable y atenta. La habitación estaba en el techo de la casa, había dos habitaciones en esa zona, son chicas, me lo imaginaba más amplia de acuerdo a sus fotos, el sol pega de frente desde la mañana, las ventanas si tienen cortinas, la puerta no. En mi habitación después de las 6:00pm había hormigas. No tenía buros, solo una cajonera junto a un mueble donde se colgaba la ropa por lo cual no se podía abrir. El desayuno es café y pan tostado. Definitivamente buscaría otra opción donde quedarme.

Terrible customer service. The lady at the Front Desk tried to double charge me for my stay, even thou I booked (and paid) through Expedia. She said she didn't believe Expedia would pay her and I should pay her again. Then she said I could wait in my room while she called Expedia, but if she couldn't get confirmation I would have to pay (again). So I waited for an hour on the terrace and came down to check on her, and she said I should cancel my Expedia reservation (and lose half my money) because everyone pays when they check-in. I told her I didn't want to lose half of my money. She made another quick phone call (it didn't sound like to Expedia) and finally agreed to check me in. I was too tired at the end of the day, so I agreed. But whether this was gross disorganization or a petty scam attempt, this was awful service. The photos make the hotel look promising, but it is not worth this headache. There are so many better, reliable (and cheaper) hotels in Oaxaca.

It was a very quite area of the city, safe and clean.

Overall, I would go to Casa Guiva again! The property was quiet and peaceful with a beautiful interior patio and lovely rooftop terrace with great views! The staff was always helpful and very friendly! The bathroom sink was tiny and the room could use a paint job and new sheets, but the price point made all those things acceptable! :)

Everything was ok, except that o chose this hotel based on the description , restaurant, bar, which the hotel didn’t have.

I VISITED THIS BEAUTIFUL HOTEL/HACIENDA WITH MY FAMILY AND MY EXPERIENCE WAS AMAZING. THE FRIENDLY PEOPLE ARE VERY PLESENT AND WELCOMING. THE HOTEL IS BEAUTIFUL ONLY 5 BLOCKS AWAY FROM EL SOCALO. FEW BLOCKS AWAY FROM FOOD PLACES. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

For the price of the rooms I would expect to have at least air conditioning in all the rooms, but they told me that they just have one room with air conditioning and it costs more. I didn’t get any toiletries or towels. Bathroom smelled like sewer. Rain water leaked through the walls. We did enjoy breakfast.
