Need to update the shower. Internet was bad if none at all sometimes.

Room was a bit older. The light from the ac was bothersome. Great location.

The bathroom was so tiny, there were too many steps in the room, we ordered one room but was given a bigger one that we were charged for, the jacuzzi jets did not work & the tub flooded the floor & no one spoke English. (we speak some Spanish so it was ok, but for someone with none, I would not recommend staying here.) The air conditioning was nice & the bed was comfortable.

The room felt very dated and was not particularly comfortable. The bathroom, especially the shower, was also outdated, and the shower design caused water to spread across the entire bathroom floor. Overall, the room could benefit from significant updates and renovations.

Staff was terrible especially the manager Jorge. They wanted us to pay for a room that we already paid for and if we didn’t they would call the police on us. The electricity cables didn’t work in the room and the water kept going in the Room from the rain. The elevator wouldn’t work and the workers made us carry all our luggage’s to the second and third floor. Room doors would not open and we would have to go to the front desk every night to get them to re activate our key cards. The toiled did t work and would not flush correctly. Over all it was a terrible stay and we are requesting a full refund. There were some kind staff

Es un edificio antiguo que han remodelado solo por zonas. Las fotos de la publicidad se veían muy bonitas, pero al llegar fue todo lo contrario, puertas, sillones y en general mobiliario viejo y vencido, tienen una fuente sucia. La tina de baño estaba pintada y diría hasta peligrosa. Daba miedo salir al balcón porque se sentía se iba a caer. No lo recomendaría en lo absoluto. Creo vive más de su fama y su ubicación. Mencionan ser hotel 4 estrellas pero yo le daría 2 o maximo 3 estrellas. Reconozco el chico de la recepción (creo se llama Samuel) muy amable, otra chica creo estaba en entrenamiento sumamente lenta y sin conocimiento de lo que tenía que hacer. Si están entrenamiento, alguien tiene que estar junto an ella ya que tenían clientes pero con mucha espera para atendernos.

Personal de seguridad nocturno muy prepotente y sin empatía al huésped, amenazando que iba a cerrar el acceso principal al hotel y ya no se abría.

El trato de recepción fue excelente. En particular y no es la primera vez, hay un señor mayor entrado los 70 años que no tiene buen trato con los clientes del hotel. Se la pasa custodiando el baño con una actitud irregular en su trato. Fuera de eso, las personas y mi estancia en el hotel fue buena.

I've been staying at Hotel Francis on and off since 1999. For many years, I've recommended it to others because of its history, charm, and outstanding location. Unfortunately, I no longer feel I can do that. The rooms were clean, and the showers were excellent. Those things matter. But I don't believe they outweigh the rest of my experience. Our check-in was long and unnecessarily laborious. Worse, the desk agent seemed indifferent to how long the process was taking. When we were finally checked in, we weren't permitted to walk up the single flight of stairs to our rooms. Instead, we had to wait for the bellman to escort us. That included a lengthy explanation of the history of the hotel and its elevator, when all we wanted to do was get to our rooms, take a shower, and relax. To make matters worse, the elevator stopped working while we were waiting. I asked permission at the front desk to simply walk to our rooms and the staff simply looked away and ignored me. Again, the rooms themselves were generally very nice, and my group liked them. But first impressions matter, and ours was not a good one. Take a look at the furniture in the lobby. It isn't just dated—it is stained and visibly worn from decades of use. Even the TV is wrapped in plastic. If Hotel Francis hopes to live up to the reputation that kept many of us coming back for decades, it needs to invest not only in its lobby and reception area but also in the friendliness and professionalism of it's staff.

Muy buena ubicación, muy céntrica. Hotel cómodo, pero con mobiliario ya viejo. La habitación tenía jacuzzi pero éste no funcionó

Eu já me hospedei neste hotel 10 vezes, e sou suspeita em falar, a localização é perfeita! O hotel foi reformado recentemente por causa da Copa do Mundo, pq Guadalajara era uma das cidades sedes do mundial, e ficou melhor ainda! Este ano a principio eu tinha reservado uma suíte, mas como não tinha janela, pedi pra mudar de quarto, e fui atendida prontamente na recepção
