Our stay at Punta Caliza was truly exceptional! Julie, Irving and Max made our stay so memorable and took it to a 6 star experience. The chef, Jonathan, is the best on the island. Every morning was a delicious surprise with an authentic, local breakfast cuisine. The sauces and spices are fresh and unique. Just say YES to the daily breakfast special! The location is perfect and the pool is one of a kind. Very peaceful and relaxing stay on Isla Holbox! Can’t wait to return! Thank you Caliza Team!

Es un excelente hotel, el concepto está increíble, la vista de la habitación es espectacular. El personal es maravilloso, Max, Irving, Ezequiel, Diego y Juli, todos hicieron de nuestra estancia una gran experiencia. Lo recomendaría y seguramente regresaremos pronto.

This hotel is truly exceptional. I’ve stayed at other places in Holbox and had great experiences, but this hotel stands out. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted by name, which makes the service feel incredibly personal. The breakfast is excellent, and the food overall is outstanding. The beach club is beautiful and provides the perfect place to relax and enjoy the island. I traveled solo as a woman, and Holbox is a wonderful destination for solo travelers. This hotel, in particular, made me feel especially comfortable and well cared for. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Escogimos este hotel por su arquitectura y fue una experiencia muy grata, tal como lo imaginamos. Una distribución fuera de lo convencional con diseño minimalista de estilo playero, lleno de detalles que se aprecian en cada rincón. Las habitaciones cómodas y acogedoras con ese toque rústico que buscábamos. Totalmente recomendable, la atención del personal esmerada y amable, nos hicieron sentir en casa.

Très bel hôtel au niveau architectural avec sa piscine en son centre et ses chambres réparties tout autour, très bon restaurant également ainsi qu’au niveau du club de plage

El concepto, las batas de baño la alberca, solo pondría para mejorar unas bicicletas 6 bicis a disposición del huésped para moverse a la playa o al centro

En general un lugar acogedor y bonito. El personal es muy atento y amable, especialmente los recepcionistas de Guadalajara.

Punta Caliza is the perfect blend of modern & traditional Mexico. The space is tranquil, the breakfast was exciting and filling every morning. Their team are all lovely and super friendly, offering great suggestions and making you feel welcome. You can see there was so much thought put into this hotel and all that it encompasses.

We had an amazing stay at Punta Caliza. The staff are really friendly and welcoming, the pool is stunning and the beach club is amazing (it’s just a 3 min walk down the beach from the hotel and the food and cocktails are excellent). Each room has its own private plunge pool leading onto the main pool and there is a small bar / restaurant (I think the website advertises live music there but we never heard any during our stay). There are a few small things I think could be improved though. Firstly, it would have been great to have more breakfast options (you can have either a local special or an omelette) and the coffee was really disappointing as someone who looks forward to their first coffee of the day! On the first day we were literally served brown water because we were told that the coffee machine wasn’t working and it didn’t get significantly better, to be honest. My boyfriend was told he couldn’t have a cappuccino on every morning of our stay. Also, our room wasn’t cleaned on the first day because the staff didn’t have a spare key. All these things are completely understandable but just not in keeping with the premium feel of the rest of our stay. Lastly, the staff were very helpful in booking us an airport shuttle from Chiquila but unfortunately the company they booked us with (Genesis) does not seem reliable and were apparently unaware of our booking when we arrived. This made our trip to the airport slightly stressful! I’d advise not booking with them.

The hotel was beautiful and well maintained

Fantastic properly just off the main beach. Lovely stuff that go well beyond for the guests. Quiet, but you can easily hear your direct neighbors if they are not very self aware.

Arquitectura única, solo por el clima no pudimos disfrutas nuestra estancia en la isla y el hotel ,comida muy rica , atención del personal excelente.

The place was great but the staff were what made it. The pool off the room is amazing and private and leads out to the main pool. The beach is a 5-7 min walk away. The food is Delish and breakfast was fab. We will for sure come back! Thanks to Julietta, Max, Irving and the beach club boys! We loved it all!

The friendliness and willingness to help/address any requests was outstanding. The design and amenities in the rooms were lovely as well.
