We our family of the five who stayed here during our Christmas holiday. We loved that the hotel was directly on the beach. It has a lovely breakfast. the whole area is very calm, even though it’s close to the village. The staff were nice and super helpful. We had a great day and would absolutely recommend this hotel.

We had the best experience at Zomay! Wonderful food, lovely entertainment, and a fantastic location right by the sea. The absolute best hotel I have ever experienced in Mexico. The staff was amazing. The room was great. Very clean and comfortable. Only downside was the beach there is not nice at all. There is no effort to clean the seaweed or mess off the beachfront even though the property itself is beautiful. I would say if you are a person who isn’t interested in going in the water this is a great place but if you want to swim and enjoy the water. This isn’t the place. Also there is an Airbnb beside the hotel which was extremely noisy 2 nights of are stay until very late. Not within the hotels control of course. Bring ear plugs just in case.

Este lugar en un paraíso!! Desde las atenciones de Ricardo y Daniel, la comodidad y limpieza de los cuartos, la accesibilidad y el bar en la orilla de la playa, definitivamente volvería a quedarme aquí mil veces más.

Beachfront property. I was a solo traveler with a pet. Property states is pet friendly but pet can not be left in room at any time is beyond a restriction anf should be definitely noted instead of contact property for me information. Concierge is not available after 10 which should absolutely be told to all guests upon arrival which I wasn’t. Breakfast was the best part and sunset was nice. Extremely disappointed with my experience and hope my review saves you from the inconvenience I experienced.

Perfect introduction to the island of Holbox. The staff made our stay excellent, and our room was good. Breakfast was included and it was good. The location was great, away from the noise and close enough to walk. It is pet friendly too. We recommend!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The property needs repairs and updates. The sargasso was not cleaned on the beach and the water was dirty. They could use a mat at the door to the room to prevent tracking in sand. The beds were not very comfortable. The AC worked well and we had hot water. The breakfast was good and there were plenty of options. The location was close to downtown and not a far walk. Next time would stay on the other end of the island where the beaches are nicer.

The staff was exceptional. The location was perfect. The food and drinks were better than anywhere else we tried. We enjoyed everything about our stay.

The room was lovely and staff were super helpful and friendly! Me and my partner absolutely loved the walk through the garden to the beach front, where there is shaded spots and comfy recliners. Close enough to the centre of town, not so close that you can hear the street. Only thing to possibly note at time of review is there are building works going on in the site next door so the mornings can be loud. However, I still thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend.

This property was exactly what we were looking for in a Holbox hotel. Rustic looking, but higher end decor and amenities. Fresh water supplied in your room and refill ability right at the front desk, without charge. Sun cabanas were not crowded together like some other close properties. Great cocktails from the beach bar and a very nice sundown event with a live entertainer and full staff for cocktails and appetizers. Speaking of appetizers, the spicy tuna sushi was some of the best I had ever had. Cannot wait to come back to this property. Would highly recommend it for anyone that has not been to Holbox before as it is close to downtown shops and restaurants also.

The property is on the far South side of the city. We walked to virtually every other beachside resort and would argue that this is the best (all things considered). The manager Daniel is an honest and welcoming host. He added to our comfort level (our first time traveling in Mexico) and we'd recommend Zombay because of him. He's a good guy and an excellent host. The property is quiet and peaceful and in a perfect spot. The room was basic (everything is in Holbox) but the porch attached to the room was 'amazing' and the property is peaceful and clean and gives you that true island vibe. The beachfront bar is tiny but efficient. We'd recoupment this place to anyone visiting Isla Holbox for the first time.

Très bel hébergement avec un décor enchanteur. L’accueil fournit de l’eau potable, il y a un café et un restaurant annexés à l’hôtel augmentant ainsi l’offre de service à proximité. On peut se rendre aisément dans le « centre-ville » à pied et l’emplacement permet d’observer les couchers de soleil. Le service de buanderie se veut être fait par le personnel de l’hôtel pour un coût par morceau de vêtement. Mes points négatifs proviennent de la qualité des installations, plus précisément de notre suite. La porte coulissante extérieure était difficile à ouvrir et par le fait même, sa poignée était brisé. Les matelas et les oreillers sont très durs, donc pas idéal pour les maux de dos/cou. En général nous avons adoré notre séjour et nous recommandons cet établissement.

Great location and property. The staff at this property is remarkable. Coco, Carmen and Daniela specifically took excellent care of us every day along with the kitchen staff, bar staff, maintenance and housekeeping. My only advice is to remove seaweed more often from the beach and be prepared to possibly not have hot water at times but this is México and these things happen. Other than that we had an excellent stay. Thank you Hotel Zomay.❤️

Staff were all wonderful and very helpful. Very cute and have character. But if you are looking for luxurious hotel; this will not be a place for you. I will definitely come back here.
