The room was clean. Host was very helpful.

Lovely place with a wonderful staff. Room is pretty and clean but is on the top floor of a 4-story walk-up, so a bit challenging. Bed is a bit too firm. Breakfast and service are excellent.

Beautiful property and such nice people. Our family of 5 enjoyed our time. Excellent recommendation on guide through the Medina.

At night the noise from other riad is heard in your room. If you plan to sleep early you could not do that

Personale STRA disponibile ed efficiente oltre che molto cordiali. Dotazione della camera meravigliosa, struttura in generale meravigliosa. Abbiamo preso attraverso loro una guida per la Medina di Fes che oltre a parlare bene italiano è stato eccezionale ed abbiamo concordato insieme cosa vedere. Eccellente tutto

Excellent Staff..excellent hospitality and great directions.

Didn’t stay long enough to enjoy everything as we arrived late and checked out early. Staff couldn’t have been any nicer. Mint tea immediately upon arrival and it was great! Our room was a suite and full of character. Not pristine but that is the charm of the Riad. Had dinner at a neighboring Riad and that was amazing. Our proprietor insisted on walking us there (3 women) and offered to come back to get us. We felt very safe. Breakfast was ready promptly at 7:30 as we were leaving on a desert tour promptly at 8. Sweets, breads and strong coffee was a great start to our day. Thank you for your kindness!

Riad fabuloso, todo o pessoal é fantástico, sempre pronto para ajudar no que fosse pedido. Quartos de sonho, onde nos sentimos uns verdadeiros reis. Muito bem localizado. Recomendo vivamente: quem nunca experimentou um Riad, esta é sem dúvida a melhor opção. Excelente qualidade/preço. Pequeno-almoço e jantares deliciosos.

施設についてはシャワーは使ってないのですが建て付け悪いが寝るだけなら大丈夫。メディナの中にあるのでメディナ散策には便利です。オプショナルツアーの売り込みが凄い。そしてそのオプショナルツアーの質が悪い。観光ガイドツアーははじめの契約内容が違い、買い物させようとばかりします、25€の契約なのに40€と言ってくるしブルーゲートに行くはずが時間が無いと行きませんでした。〔実際には25€しか払いませんでしたが〕フェズ駅までのタクシーも10€といってたのが直前になると13€に値上がりしているし、駅中まで荷物持つ契約だったがそのまま帰るし、チップの要求が強い、またハマムマッサージは隣にあるのに20分ほど歩かされマッサージで癒された身体がまた疲れました。こちらでのオプショナルツアーの申し込みはやめたほうがいいです。そのくせトラップアドバイザーに星5つけろと要求します。フェズはお金で解決なドライな感じ、マラケシュでは心からの親切に出会いました。こちらの対応でフェズの思い出は良いものではなくなりました。

Fes is an experience in itself. Riad Damia was a great experience, with the riad decorated in impressive Moroccan style. We were given a free upgrade to the top-floor suite which was huge and beautiful. The only downside is the water situation. On both nights, we had to settle for barely luke-warm water, which in itself, took more than 10 minutes of letting the water run to be passable in the cold winter.

This 300 year old palace turned Riad is magnificent. Management was very helpful in arranging tours and transfers.

予約時にパーキング無料となっていたのでこの宿に決めたのですが、返金不可の予約完了後、パーキング希望の旨を伝えたところ「駐車場は一泊2€」との返信がありました。 実際に現地に行くと、そこは狭い路地で「ここに路上駐車すれば無料。ただし、傷つけられるかも…」との説明がありました。 それで仕方なく近くの屋根付き有料駐車場に停めることにしました。 その駐車場にはガルディアンが二名いましたが、出庫の際、モハメッドという若い方が、「100DH払わないと許さない」と車のドアを閉めさせないように体を入れてきてゴネ始めました。 「ホテルは2€と言っていた。二泊だから4€だ。50DHで充分のはず。」と説明しましたが、まったく聞く耳を持たず…。 一方、ホテル側は、この駐車場の紹介をして停めさせたものの支払い段階ではノータッチで無責任でした。 結局、70DH払ってようやく出庫出来たのですが、そのお金をガルディアン二人が取り合いしている姿が見苦しく、さらに、車の右ミラーに黒いレースの女性用下着がかけられている…といういたずらまでされて最悪でした。 そもそもパーキング無料と表記していたことが事実とは異なっており、さらに返金不可の予約完了後になって、その項目が予約確認書のどこにも書かれなくなっていたことが不自然で不誠実だと感じました。 周辺に食料店は無く、ブージュールド門も遠く、夜、出歩くのが憚られる暗い小道ばかりで、結局、ホテルで割高な食事をするしかありませんでした。 建物の雰囲気はあり、スタッフの気遣いも感じましたが、立地と駐車場対応の悪さで評価が下がりました。

Llegué en un vuelo nocturno, tarde y a pesar de tener la reservación las instalaciones de Raid, estaban cerradas. Estuve timbrando por alrededor de 20 minutos sin resultado alguno y jo fue sino hasta que acudí a un Raid vecino y les pedí, que le llamaran por teléfono al Raid en que había hecho la reservación. Aún después de eso esperé,más de cinco minutos. El personal muy amable, solicité un cambio de cuarto porque mi esposa no podía subir dos pisos con frecuencia y me dieron uno cuarto más agradable en la planta baja.

C'est un jolie palace, avec beaucoup de charme, mais qui présente de nombreux signes de vétusté...

Riad molto carino, personale gentilissimo, in una zona tranquilla a soli 10 minuti dalla porta blu. La nostra stanza non si chiudeva e il bagno aveva un perenne cattivo odore, ma il personale è gentilissimo e la colazione ottima.

Riad molto carino accanto a Bab Ziat, facile da raggiungere con auto e taxi, stanza ENORME e graziosissima (un po' fredda a dire il vero), bagno bellissimo, colazione ottima, accordarsi bene sulle camere perchè ve ne sono senza bagno privato (ma non è segnalato al momento dell'acquisto su Expedia)

Huge huge room (we got the biggest of 8 rooms in this hotel). A bit nervous when our tax had to drop us off a block from the hotel since the alley is too narrow for cars; the single door is probably smaller than our house door, but once you step inside the hotel is quite big up high open ceiling. The decorations are spectacular. It's a bit dated but well kept and clean. I can't compliment enough about the staff. There are a couple of them working around the clock. They're very helpful and attentive to our needs. Breakfast is ok; the breads are good but no meat and we got just one egg per person. The gourmet dinner (extra $$) on rooftop is unforgettable (although it's 3 times more expensive than at the nice restaurants near Blue Gate). The hotel is about 20-min walk from Blue Gate (if you go outside and walk along the wall of the Old Town ... walking thru Old Town takes anywhere between 15-min to forever, depending on how good you're at navigating the 13,000 streets and alleys of Fes Medina LOL. We were there for 6 days and failed everytime we attempted it). Will definitely consider staying here next time we're in Fes!
