Hotel Himalaya 是Patan比较好的酒店，外表好Grand, 房间比较国际化；但是性价比不太， 房间内设施不太方便，例如床头灯需要用插座来关， 早餐比较失望

When I book the hotel, it was stated that "Breakfast included". However, when I checked in, the staff at the front desk told me that breakfast was not included and I have to pay 11 USD for the breakfast if I want. Further, the staff was very unhelpful. I bought a sim card and wanted him to look up the menu in Nepal language for me (as I can't understand any), he just shake his head and said "it takes time, I can't." What kind of service is this? Given that it is a 4 star hotel and the price is not cheap at all, I can't accept such working attitude of that staff.

Excellent service by the staff at this fantastic hotel. We really like the location, cleanliness and professionalism of the staff. It was an excellent choice for us and we really enjoyed our short stay here

The whole experience was very good

Great hotel

Overall the photos are pretty dated . The room had wires taped together to the lamps . The main light had no way to turn off in hallway if you need to keep electricity on per say to charge your phone . The food was good . But there was a very pushy food worker or manager that tried on two occasions to overcharge me by an exorbitant amount. Like the coffee I ordered was 500 nrp and he tried to charge me 5000 nrp and even was hovering over me with my purse open . I have travelled a lot and this was a huge red flag . I would not return here . The bedroom was comfortable and the patio was nice. But overall the I expected better from something they rate as 5 stars .

Nice place, friendly people

After nearly a year, I came back to Hotel Himalaya to discover many minor improvement to the hotel. Security improved in card access lift and doorway, a renovated lounge, enlarged outdoor dining, I like it. The room is still clear though not yet renovated. Reception is reasonable. Overall I still enjoyed my stay with my colleague.

I liked the fact that I could walk to Patan square from the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Vi bodde på Himalaya Hotel i 5 dager og var meget fornøyd med rommet, lokasjonen, utearealet, betjeningen og maten.

I've been staying here on visits for the past five years and the experience has always been a good one. I had a small suite located at a corner of the building and could see the Himalayas out both windows whenever the weather was clear enough. Bed was comfortable and the large desk was a pleasure to use. Wi-fi was strong and internet connection was fast. Hotel restaurant remains a good choice, although somewhat expensive by Nepalese standards. On the other hand I have never gotten sick from eating there and that has some value as well. Certainly will plan to stay here again on my next trip to Katmandu.

We enjoyed our one week day at Hotel Himalaya and had excellent service in housekeeping, restaurant, front desk, and concierge.

Staff was great, I had my room in the highest floor and it was good. Breakfast was ok, gym and sauna good and poolnwas a definite plus. Also the chocolate cake was great, highly recommended

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful.
