Hotels in Amsterdam are expensive, especially in central Amsterdam. Decided to stay further out at Hotel Levell near Bijlmer ArenA. Location may not be the most convenient and there is no convenient stores nearby unless you go to Bijlmer ArenA, one metro stop away. Considering the price and it's cleaniness, this is still a good choice when in Amsterdam.

Wir hatten einen sehr guten Aufenthalt im Hotel Levell, unser Zimmer war sauber und das Bad war schön modern. Wir haben den Self Check in genutzt, was sehr praktisch war. Und dennoch war das Personal an der Rezeption sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Man hat sich sehr wohlgefühlt.

Indtjekning var mærkelig. Vi kunne først tjekke ind kl.15, det er fair nok, da vi var der tidligt. Men da vi kommer igen 1430 kan vi selv tjekke ind på en automat, samtidig med en kvinde får at vide hun først kan tjekke ind kl.15, så det gav ingen mening

Det bedste at sige var, at det er tæt på metroen.
Kvarteret var beskidt og trøstesløst omkring hotellet. Værelset var nogenlunde rent, men vi havde både fået sengetøj og håndklæder med synlige pletter på. Vi fik nyt da vi gjorde personalet opmærksom på det, men de virkede ikke synderligt overrasket eller beklagende, men vi fik da noget nyt. Morgenmaden var acceptabel, men ikke prangende. Vi vil ikke vælge dette hotel igen.

Easily reachable by metro, but probably a bit far out for us. Nothing around the hotel, bit of a building site. Check in was a bit impersonal, even though reception staff were there we were prompted to check in online. Fortunately there was a fridge in the room so we bought things for breakfast. Nevertheless we had fun in Amsterdam and highly recommend going to the De pipj area for breakfast.

Close to tram station. Very clean. Some restaurants close by. Not sure how I feel about checking myself in and having to make my own key cards. Felt a bit impersonal. Amsterdam was having a heat wave and the air conditioner kept turning off while we were sleeping. Even the fan so it was just very hot dead air. I would wake up drenched in sweat and nauseated.
