That’s an old building but room is clean and tidy inside. Staffs do house keeping daily to renew towels and they all very friendly. Excellent location which just 5 mins walk from Ams central station. Recommended!

Very good location -- near Stockholm Central Station with a number of eating places nearby. The hotel has a very good restaurant serving Dutch dishes. The owner kindly let us check out late for two hours without any charges as our flight was at 7pm.

This hotel has a great location — it’s very close to Amsterdam Central Station and has an elevator! They also offer free luggage storage before check-in and after check-out, which is very convenient for travelers. However, our first night happened to be a Saturday, and from evening until early morning, there were a lot of drunk or partying people yelling, shouting, or laughing loudly right on the street below our window. Fortunately, it was our first day in Europe, and due to jet lag, we were all exhausted, so the kids still managed to sleep. I'm not sure if it's possible to install soundproof windows in such an old building, but it would definitely help with the noise. That said, the lack of air conditioning is another issue. The beds were also too soft for our preference. I would recommend light sleepers avoid booking on weekends. The best part of our stay was the breakfast — it was quite generous and fresh.

The hotel staffs are very helpful. The restaurant staff choose different candle color on tables and it is interesting. The age of hotel is 450 and with poor soundproofing. I heard footsteps upstairs in midnight. However,the convinence of transporation ,the friendliness are owesome.

We spent two nights at this pleasantly traditional hotel last week with our three grandchildren in a six-bedded room. The hotel has a great location and the breakfast was good. The room was clean and spacious with comfy beds, however the bathroom smelt rather mouldy. The lack of air-conditioning with temperatures outside well over 30 degrees, made the nights very challenging with only a single tabletop fan in a large room. We would recommend that the hotel invests in air-conditioning if they want to continue having guests during the summer months.

Get what you pay for. Old hotel in clean condition, but in a busy area with no air conditioning. I had a room on the first floor with a busy street with people screaming all night outside. Not a very restful hotel.

Good location, bad breakfast.

Located at prime spot right across from central station. Only thing is the this property has no AC. Small fans were provided which was ok. Wish they invest in bigger fans.

Rent och stort familjerum med utmärkt läge och fantastisk utsikt. Lite svårnavigerat i gemensamma utrymmen med svåra dörrar och brant trappa.

The hotel location is amazing, you can walk anywhere to the most common places. The breakfast was great as well. The cleaning was ok although they did not change the bed sheet daily, but generally it was net and clean. Highly recommended, I would say excellent hotel.

Hotel maravilloso, las camas son las mejores, muy muy limpias y súper cómodas de todo mi viaje que tuve en Europa, el desayuno inmejorable! Tiene elevador, y eso en Ámsterdam con maletas grandes es un plus! Súper recomendable, si regreso un día sin duda me hospedaré aquí!

Selve hotellet var greit, perfekt beliggenhet. Problemet var uteområdet til hotellets uterestaurant. De lot søppel stå ute om natta som resulterte i at måkene hadde fest der hver natt- umulig å få sove.
