What a fantastic hotel. Currently being refurbished and only refurbed rooms are available (according to front desk). My refurbed bedroom was really good. Bar hasn’t yet reopened hence my lower score on amenities. The staff are so proud of the hotel and that shows in their attitude. Although a mile further out than I usually stay, the train and tram links are excellent and the local park is quieter than some more central. Great place.

Wij komen al meer dan 10 jaar minstens 2x per jaar naar dit fantastische hotel. Het hotel is heel mooi en het personeel is super lief en zeer bekwaam. Altijd bereid te helpen! Graag geven we hier een speciale vermelding voor Chanel. Zij staat altijd klaar om te helpen, super behulpzaam en altijd met de lach.
Alle lof en superlatieven voor het hotel, het personeel maar ook voor de buurt. Niet in centrum centrum maar daar ben je in 10 minuten met de tram die om de 10 minuten stopt. Zalig want je zit dus niet in de immense drukte en toch is alles vlakbij, restaurants, gezellige cafés, alles.
Echt ons favoriete hotel. In januari gaan we alweer terug!

The style and all artwork at this hotel make me feel very uncomfortable. Very weird!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The night shift receptionist is not polite. The location is not good.
When I was back to my room I can see they just left a filled garbage bag on the table.
Not worth to spend money on this hotel.

Momenteel verbouwing nog gaande, dat was mij onbekend. Fijne kamer. Fantastisch restaurant PepeNero, wel reserveren. Ontbijt niet gebruikt. Achterkant hotel is heerlijk rustig met uitzicht op groen, ook gebruikt voor honden uitlaten. Goede OV verbindingen en overige voorzieningen zoals horeca vlakbij en het prachtige Oosterpark.

We booked a Deluxe Twin room and ended up in a tiny long attic room with head to toe cabin beds that you put children into. Not what was advertised on their website. The hotel changed our room the next day after a complaint and we got a complimentary bag of local biscuits as a sorry. After a complaint to their HQ we were told they would refund our first night's stay.
