The service was fantastic, we unfortunately do not speak Spanish but everyone was very helpful. There is a roof top patio that has a small pool and billards table and is a great spot to watch the sunset or just hang out and have a few drinks. Ica is not touristy at all compared to Huacachina. You can easily visit the vineyards from here or 8sol to go into Huacachina to look around.

Upon arrival as my sister was checking in, a staff member offered me coffee. I grabbed a cup. Another staff member asked my room number. I said I’ll let you know in a minute. Because I didn’t have the room number yet he insisted I pay the $5.00 tab. I said another staff member offered it. He would not let it go or believe me that another staff member offered it to me. He said “well let me confirm then.” It was not about the tab but the principle that I did not want to pay. He would not rationalize with me the fact that it was an honest mistake.

No pudimos dormir bien, hubo una fiesta en un lugar muy cercano toda la noche y el ruido se escuchaba demasiado fuerte. Adicional la cama y las almohadas no son de buena calidad.
