My only other point of reference was the costabella in the area last year. I love the pool outside of my room and the beauty of the the bay or shallow ocean outside. I’d probably buy some plastic jacks which are more comfortable to sit in. The restaurant food was great and the juices were great and the pool was nice. I liked it a bit better than costabella the year before

A couple of little things people should be aware of:
- access to the resort is via an old dirt road, not ideal to walk on especially at night. They have a service to drive you out (but not back)
- the bed had plastic on the hard mattress (very noisy & not nice to sleep on)
Overall it is a Beautiful resort.
The room was very palatial & luxurious and staff super friendly & helpful. The pool is fantastic & heated.
So happy they are very Gay friendly too!

Fantastic stay at Cube 9. It was a treat to have a hotel that actually cared about the comfort and quality of their guests stay after being constantly let down in the Philippines. The manager was very friendly and professional. The front desk staff were great and always on hand to help sort out rides or give information. The service staff were great and very through. And the food! Amazing. Would definitely stay here again next time I come to Cebu.

Not great! We specifically sent an email followed by phone call to ensure the shuttle would pick us up from airport.IT DIDNT! We tried calling the hotel for 2 hours, had police call and taxi call, never answered. Had to book another hotel for the night. Got to Cube9 next day, no sorry, nothing. Said they misunderstood and no compensation. We were there 4 days NO HOT WATER! We commented and they were not surprised nor cared. Went for massages, I left my ring in the room by accident, went back 1/2 hour later and it was gone. Again no accountability. Stayed for new years, booked there special bbq. Food arrived precooked and cold. Another big family anrrived and all staff were entertaining them. We were ignored. All other guests were Korean. We felt not welcome. We are from Canada. Oh yes, and the mouse running around the dining room. Sewer smell from the pool. Could be a cute boutique hotel, but isn’t. We were disappointed.
