High End Hotel alles hat gestimmt

I had a 13 hour layover in Doha and Fairmont Doha was the perfect place to do it. It reminded me of one of my favorite stays Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Luxury. Views. Comfortable room. Brilliant food ordered for room service. I would definitely stay here again when I come back to Qatar.

The hotel was great in my first visit over a year ago But now the amenities and tools and staff operation is the worst in comparison with raffles hotel in the same building! Maintinance is too bad, in room dining takes long time to reach

Everything and everyone was amazing. My only small concern was that the outdoor pool was VERY crowded. Will definatley consider returning.

Beautiful and lovely hotel with really friendly staff

stayed recently, and while the room was spotlessly clean and the staff were truly wonderful, there were some details that let it down. The bathroom grout looked unfinished, and only one small pool was open, with missing tiles. The restaurant was inconsistent: avocado unavailable at breakfast, yet served at dinner, and the same dessert three nights in a row. That said, the hotel is absolutely beautiful, with amazing views. Despite the quirks, I would stay again, thanks to the wonderful staff and the overall setting

Appena arrivati siamo stati accolti benissimo, check in rapido in cinque minuti, poi la ragazza che parlava benissimo l’italiano ci ha accompagnati nelle camere e ci ha spiegato in una maniera dettagliata tutto. La camera era impeccabile e disponeva di ogni comfort, il servizio era eccellente, il migliore che io abbia mai visto. Dall’asciugacapelli ghd ad ogni tipo di toiletries. La stanza veniva rifornita e sistemata ben due volte al giorno e la ragazza dell’housekeeping, Mimi, si assicurava che non mancasse mai nulla. In camera avevamo la macchinetta del caffè e Mimi passava ogni giorno a rifornirla con acqua e latte. Anche il servizio della colazione è stato impeccabile con cibo di altissima qualità e scelte a la carte incluse. In generale, tutto il personale è stato piu che attento e disposto ad aiutarci per qualsiasi cosa. In assoluto l’hotel migliore che meriterebbe piú di 5 stelle. Ringrazio lo staff di Fairmont per aver reso indimenticabile questo viaggio.

THE BEST HOTEL IN THE WORLD!

Having debated for weeks on whether to stay at The Fairmont or the Mandarin Oriental, I made the ill decision of picking The Fairmont. From the get go, service was extremely slow and concierge were uninviting. The room had a wow factor when first entering, however a lot of the amenities were gimmicky and didn’t work properly. The iPad that controlled the lighting was unresponsive and the control pad for the bidet didn’t work. The shower pressure was low and so was the toilet spray. The tv for the bathtub was also slow and unresponsive and required a technician to come out to turn it on. Having called concierge for assistance, they not only didn’t respond to follow up calls as to the whereabouts of the technician, but made us wait 20 minutes for a knock on the door. Once the technician came, he seemed inept to carry out his role, as it took him an additional 20 minutes to turn the tv and sound on. At which point my bath had cooled and subsequently lost its allure. Having spoken to concierge the following day, they lacked empathy and didn’t provide any consolation. This stay was the second half of my trip to Qatar. The first being at Al Messila Luxury Resort and Spa, which I must say surpassed my expectations. Considering the price point I assumed that the latter part of my trip at The Fairmont would be my favourite but unfortunately that is far from reality.

We do enjoy staying at the Fairmont, this is now our second stay. The massage received was excellent and very relaxing, unfortunately the men's spa pool is closed currently which was a shame. We experienced a cleanliness issue in the bathroom, front office was made aware and an apology was given/corrected.

Amazing hotel. The staff are wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure my birthday was special!
