I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t

Our Stay on the Brae was fine, but I think it is advertised as more than it is. It is a bedroom and bath attached to someone's house. You enter the room by walking around back of the house and entering the room from an exterior door. The bedroom was just big enough for the kingsize bed. The owner was very nice and provided for our needs and gave us useful information.

This was a great little find! Lovely, clean accommodation, just outside of Edinburgh with free parking and easy transport links into the city centre. Graeme was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return should we visit Edinburgh again in the future.
