The hostess was excellent with recommendations for dinner and things to see in the area. She made us aware the Harry Potter train was not running , so we were able to alternate plans that worked out great. Breakfasts were filling and great tasting.

The room was clean and well maintained. The staff was very helpful. They hung my wet clothes to dry for me and returned them the next day after I was caught in a storm while hiking. The breakfast was great and the view from the dining room was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel during our most recent trip to Scotland and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, the owner was incredibly accommodating and flexible, especially with our very late check-in, which made our arrival completely stress-free after a long day of travel. The room was comfortable and welcoming, but what truly stood out was the hospitality. We were made to feel at home right away, and the morning Scottish breakfast was absolutely phenomenal. It was fresh, hearty, and the perfect start to the day with the signature haggis that was perfect What made the stay even more special was the time the owner took to talk us through the local area. They shared helpful insights and tips, including telling us about the Glenfinnan Viaduct. Without that recommendation, we would have completely missed it—and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip.
