Occidental Fuengirola is a lovely hotel, a place that makes you feel like you can come back again in future for many times to enjoy your spanish holidays. The rooms are clean and the balcony is very big. The breakfast was amazing and not chaotic at all, as it can be in hotel buffets. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating to us. Thank you again for making our holidays special and memorable.

The staff was amazing the entire time. Our room was a corner jr. suite with a great view of the sea. Bathroom was clean, bed comfortable, lots of room with a separate living area... the only thing we were a bit disappointed in was the breakfast buffet... the Barcelo in Sevilla had an amazing spread with fresh squeezed orange juicing machine... this property tasted like frozen or canned orange juice... and the selection in general wasn't as good... but again staff made up for it.. super friendly and accommodating... they even gave us a hand written note, bottle of cava, and chocolates which was a great touch!... the live music in the evening was also a nice touch

Huoneesta oli osittainen merinäköala. Mutta hyvin meri näkyi talojen välistä. Huone oli tilava ja sänky oli suuri. Huone siivottiin päivittäin. Keskustaan lyhyt matka ja ranta oli tie ylityksen päässä. Viihtyisä hotelli.

I booked a Super Room with a balcony and was upgraded to a Deluxe Sea View on a higher floor. Floors 8 and up have an excellent sea view I was told. My room was immaculate with all the amenities you need. Bed was super comfortable. Decor was light, modern and cosy. All furniture was comfortable also. Great breakfast variety. Hot and cold, savoury and sweet options. Fruit offering was FRESH and choices of beverages was brilliant. The staff across the entire hotel were very hospitable, professional and friendly 24/7. The hotel is well located and the train station and bus terminals are within 20 - 25 mins walk from hotel. From there you can travel to popular stops like Benalmadena, Torremolinos, And Malaga Central. On my return to Fuengirola, this will be my hotel choice.

Hyvätasoinen huone. Sänky, suihku ja parveke erittäin ok. Aamupalabuffet samoin. Iso uima-allas ei "talvella" käytössä, kuntosali tyydyttävä.

Lovely newly decorated bedroom with large balcony. Tea and coffee, kettle, mugs and mini fridge in the bedroom also. Very good food at the breakfast and dinner buffets. Everyone on staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. Comfortable, clean, and modern hotel.

Always happy to stay at Occidental in Fuengirola

Nous avons séjourné 6 jours à l'Occidental Fuengirola fin décembre 2025. Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Le personnel était vraiment gentil. Tout était bien entretenu. La suite face à la mer était vraiment bien, tranquille et le lit confortable. La vue était spectaculaire. Nous avons apprécié le buffet petit déjeuner à chaque matin, il était très variés. L'Hôtet est situé près de tout les services. Il y a plein de bons restaurants à proximité et peuvent se faire à pied. Nous reviendrons assurément.

Staff was ok, very nice! Hotel is on a good location. Hotel is old and need renovation! WiFi is super slow and very bad!

The staff are very kind and helpful. The room is clean and spacious; perhaps the only negative for us was that the bed was very soft, but of course that’s a matter of personal preference and what one is used to. The breakfast is extremely generous and varied. I highly recommend the hotel to everyone!
