All in all, happy to stay here, just be prepared to do a lot of extra work to check-in. The location is incorrectly indicated on Facebook, TripAdvisor & hotels.com, and is 10km north of Tissa. Easily accessed by public transit if you've got the correct address. Make sure they know you're coming, as they were unaware I had made the reservation. If you can't find their phone #, try them on Facebook, or worst case scenario, go to to their Tile & Bathroom Shop, next to Sampath Bank... Don't expect easy strolls to find food, entertainment and sightseeing, rather enjoy the monkeys, cows and peacocks strolling through the property. It's a pretty, small property that's thinly forested with a small watering hole in the back. Great service staff. One guy is there full time and will prepare your delicious breakfast. The other guy lives there in the evening, and can speak English very well. Directly deal with the owner for arranging breakfast if you're going out on safari, he'll arrange for one on safari. The room is spacious with a separate lounging area, a lockup cabinet, and large bathroom with rainshower, bathtub. Real wood furnishings, high ceilings, lots of windows, and lots of hot water. Your private terrace is empty, but there is a large communal table around the corner. The WiFi is a data stick shared with everyone else on the property, you're better off with your own data SIM.
