Very Good.

The hotel is quite near to train station (within 5-minute walk). The staff gave warm welcome when I entered / left the hotel. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. However, it was a bit difficult for me to recognize the reception of the hotel when I first arrived there as it looked like a part of restaurant. The room for shower may be a bit small for some people.

Good value for money at the busy part of the city. Accessible to anywhere. Breakfast was fine.

Good hotel for stay if you visit bern, nice staff, and free for bicycle rental, good location , next of main street and near train station, just 5 mins walk

The rooms was spacious and well furnished, although didn’t feel like it was very well kept. The biggest issue was the non-working air conditioning on a hot day. The hotel is on a busy street so sleeping with the windows open wasn’t possible because of the noise either. They were kind enough to give us a fan but it didn’t really work. 2 nights of terrible sleep!

Excellent location and hotel. Room was large and nice bathroom. A safe area and close to so many. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great and good selection. Thanks for a fun stay!

Very nice and supportive staff. Rooms somehow small

The Bristol was very conveniently located in Bern inner city near the train station, Bern Bahnhof and all the shops and cafes of the old town. The room was spacious by European standards. Very comfortable and staff friendly and responsive. Breakfast was excellent.

I booked a standard room for two. What exactly is a standard, expensive room in a 4-star hotel like? It's small, but that's not the most important thing. One side of the bed is practically pushed up against the wall with the window. That means there's no access to the bed from one side, not to mention a bedside table where it would be nice to put a phone, water, or anything else. And if you need to get out of bed at night for any reason, you'll have to climb over the person next to you or get up together. We didn't even bother considering the other "perks" of this room. Such rooms are supposed to be for single occupants, not for a couple. When we expressed all this at the reception desk and asked to change to another room, we were assured that all standard rooms are like this, and if we wanted something different, we'd have to pay extra, which we did, as it was impossible to stay in such a room. The room we got was a little larger, and thankfully the bed was accessible from both sides, but it didn't have anything other than a coffee maker to qualify as a 4-star hotel. On the plus side, the hotel is very well located, in the center and close to the train station. Breakfasts were decent. If anyone does decide to book it, they'd be looking for a room other than the standard room, but I'm sure you can find a much better hotel.

Air conditioning did not work in the other rooms. I had three rooms as soon as not working any other rooms no matter what we tried. You didn’t talk with the staff. Got a little warm during the day work out for Cell is very limited. Staff was very pleasant hotel was very clean

This line of properties have all been great. They are clean, the staff is nice, the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast bars are abundant. After our first stay at this brand, it was the name I continued to look for during our travel. They were all centrally located to public transportation and tourist sites, local events, and beauty.

Excellent breakfast …variety and everything was presented well. Looked forward to breakfast every day.

This hotel definitely left something to be desired and I definitely don’t think it meets the mark for a 4 star hotel. My room shower looked nothing like the photos and was very outdated compared to what was advertised. The room was very minimalist with nothing offered there either. Half of the lights in the room weren’t working. They give you a sign to put on your door that says “skip the room clean and we’ll slide a drink ticket under your door”. They did not do that. If you arrive early before check in they won’t let you check in early and won’t tell you when your room is ready. Overall- experience was fine, but definitely seemed more like a 2 star compared to the multiple other 4 star similar priced hotels I stayed at in Switzerland.
