amazing hotel, very nice staff , very helpful and excellent location

The location was superb as it was literally a minute walk from the Grindewald station, and it's on the quieter side of the town. Staff were excellent, professional, helpful with advice. The breakfast was superb with a great variety and plenty of comfortable seating. The main issue was the hair found on blankets and in bathtub (photos taken, clearly not mine as I found them on arrival), there was also a red stain on one of the face washers/towels. The hotel was otherwise excellent with its staff, amenities, location.

Restaurant staff extremely helpful and efficient. Food quality also high. Unfortunately the temperature inside for dining in the evenings was nearly hot to the point if being unbearable which staff agreed with. Windows were sometimes able to be opened but not on all occasions. Bar was mainly left unattended. Often waiting for service for 20 plus minutes with certain members of bar staff not trained. Hotel has a large ski room and quick access to the train station. Hotel offers lift to Grindelwald First - but when called for pickup, it did not show. The rooms are lovely but there is no temperature control and windows had to be left wide open all night. When staying on the ground floor, this was less than ideal.

Wir hatten ein tolles Zimmer mit wunderbarer Aussicht. Am Abend hatten wir Fondue Plausch in einem kleinen Stübli draussen im Hof, das wir sehr genossen haben. Toller Service und top Bedienung. Können wir sehr gerne empfehlen...

The rooms are nice and cozy and clean however the bath robes could have been more cleaner as I found other people’s hair on them. That said everything else was great. The rooms were nice and cozy although I really think they should’ve put water for guests in a five star resort there really should’ve been bottled water there is nothing. The breakfast was great many options available breathtaking views the ball was great as well. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel although I was out for most of the morning and evening for well spent at the hotel.

Everything was perfect

Excellent stay, they upgraded my single room to double and let me check in early when I arrived at noon. The staff is excellent, everyone at the property would say hello. The spa was wonderful. The breakfast was great. Honestly enjoyed the stay throughly. I stayed in late November solo female, highly recommend for a staycation.

The hotel structure and decor is very authentic to the region. The interior is very dated and tons of steps everywhere, including in my room to get to the bathroom, there were two steps. In the middle of the night that’s a hazard. Steps everywhere, in the dining room, in the spa, not handicap accessible that’s for sure. The pool is nice and the lounge chairs around the indoor pool are facing the Eiger which can’t be beat. However no outdoor hot tub nor indoor hot tub. Actually they have a private indoor hot tub for an additional fee of 120chf for an hour and upon reservation only. Franky, when you’re spending upwards of $1200 a night you shouldn’t have to pay extra to use the hot tub after a day of hiking or skiing. The sauna and steam room were nice. They don’t provide shower caps in the room nor did they replenish the cotton swabs etc. however the interior courtyard is very pretty and romantic. Dinners were delicious and on a high standard very fresh. However there were flies around the cheeses during breakfast. Also the rooms don’t have a/c so be prepared. We slept with the windows open. Staff is all very nice and it’s across the steeet from the train station. Seems like the hotel specializes in groups such as Backroads.

Arrived at the Hotel and the staff could not be more feiendly and helpful. Absolutely beautiful property with a swiss feel. Room was great , indoor pool with Sauna and showers . Restaurant was amazing and probably our best meal in Switzerland. Perfectly located right at the beginning of all the restaurants and shops in Grindenwald. Walk out the door and two minutes you are in the heart of everything. Walked to Grindenwald First as well. Would highly recommend and absolutely stay there again.

The hotel is located at a convenient place where is walking to train station and street around 2-3 minutes. The foods at hotel are delicious with excellent services. The view is very beautiful. It is only suggested the hotel inside should put more lights or directions to guide the customer.

Ultimate Luxury in the beautiful town of Grindelwald and in lap of Swiss Alps. Most of the Rooms face the magnificent Eiger. Well spread breakfast every day. Good Dinning Options on the Menu. Swiss hospitality at its best with warmth and smile. Very comfortable stay. Great Spa.

The location is excellent amidst the alps but the rooms are far and disconnected. NO lift in some places. The phone was not working. the fridge was locked and no water was kept. Bath shower gel had not been filled up.

Charming hotel with good breakfast and lots of dining options. 5 min walk from the Grindelwald station. I injured my knee skiing at Jungfrau and went to to local doctor. The hotel was able to send a car to pick me up. They also took our family to the train station at checkout.

アイガーを真正面から見える部屋でしたので、こころゆくまで堪能できました。料理もチーズフォンデュを食しましたがとても美味しかったです。

What a great hotel in the heart of Grindelwald. We will definitely come back for future visits.

This is such a beautiful hotel. All the staff are professional, warm and welcoming. The room was gorgeous and spacious with excellent amenities and great views. The extras like handwritten notes, travel recommendations and helpful advice about visiting Grindelwald were icing on the cake.
