Deuxième séjour à l’hôtel Starling de Lausanne. Tout était parfait!
Pas étonnant qu’on y voit du bon monde ici.
Le personnel, les femmes de chambres, le restaurant, le parking gratuit jusqu’au lendemain 17h, la sécurité font de cet endroit un stop incontournable ! On reviendra!

Superbe hôtel auquel je retourne à chaque séjour sur la région Lausannoise. Près du lac, donc pratique pour une balade au lac en soirée ou tôt le matin. L'hôtel est calme et permet une parenthèse de repos, même pendant un déplacement professionnel.
Les lits sont confortables, et le personnel est aussi accueillant que serviable. Le service navette depuis la gare est un vrai atout en semaine.

På plussiden: fantastisk sengetøj og aircondition, god og sikker parkering, god morgenmad, gratis kort til metro og bus så adgang Luasannes bymidte var nem.
På minussiden: vi havde valgt et dyrt værelse for at få søudsigt, det fik vi ikke men i stedet “adgang til have”. Hotellet bar præg af det primært var til business/gæster til DTU,som lå lige ved siden af, idet restauranten var lukket for aftensmad fredag og lørdag (hvilket var de to dage vi overnattede). På trods af at de vidste vi parkerede i kælderen da vi checkede ind, måtte vi selv initiere at parkeringen blev betalt via hotellet og ikke i automat i kælderen (en forskel på 120 kr. for 2 døgn).

Directly hotel access parking garage was available with fee. Hotel offered free Lausanne public transportation card so that we could use a metro and bus to the city center.
Hotel staff were very nice and friendly. Every worker smiles and greets us.
The room was sparkling clean, beautiful decorations. Bedding was super comfy with fresh sheets.
However we feel uncomfortable about the room layout. We stayed in a business twin room.
Shower room door and toilet door were frosted glass. Also there was no closed changing space. It was opened to the bedroom space. Besides there was a 10 cm of transparent gap on the partation between bedroom and washing space. Technically dressing space is a part visible from the bedroom. We wished we had known about it. It designed only for a couple.
Otherwise everything was great.

Parking very easy awesome.
Breakfast perfect and cheap if you have to pay but mine was included. Beach 10 min walk but dont go to university area on GPS as get lost..staff should explain exact directions and tell you train is free to other places without asking. There is a shuttle too.
Overall great nearly 5 star but staff should know and explain great places and direct carefully and not after the fact.
Other strange things are no ice machi es, no dressers in rooms and soaps that smell very bad.
This is why 3-4 star but close to 5 if.mamanagement is not stubborn to make changes which i detected.

Dafür, dass es sich um ein top vier Sterne Hotel handelt, war der Frühstück mittelmässig auf dem Niveau eines zwei, höchstens drei Sterne Hotels.
Personal war sehr freundlich und weil das Hotel ziemlich leer war, haben wir einen Upgrade bekommen, wofür wir sehr dankbar sind. Das Zimmer und das ganze Hotel waren sehr sauber und gepflegt, und das Bett war sehr bequem.
