Aonang Dugong

Despite being in a great location, I had an issue with the plumbing. In the morning there wasn’t water one day. Not able to flush toilet or run the shower. When I came back after an excursion, my sink and toilet were flushing water with feces. Management (not the staff bc they tried everything to make the situation better) did nothing nor did they care. It might be a common issue? But not at the rate they charge for rooms.

The room it self was nice, clean, and spacious. There was a continuous sewer odor coming from the bathroom and we had to keep the door closed or else the entire room would smell like it. From other hotel reviews seems like that is unfortunately the norm for the area. The hotel was in a great location, within walking distance of most main attractions. However, the 3 star review is mostly due to staff. The women at the front desk in the mornings was always fairly rude/dismissive and simple requests (like more toilet paper in the room) took much longer than needed. In addition, they do not offer late check out and when most of the guests of the hotel have an evening flight and it’s boiling hot outside, having someplace of refugee for the day is a must. They offered almost no accommodations, other than storing luggage in a very unsecured location. They would not turn on the ac in lobby/hang out area, so we basically had to spend most of the day in a near by cafe. Finally, the internet connection was horrible. We had to steal internet from the next door restaurant just have reliable internet to check into our flight. All in all, if you are looking for a clean spacious room close to everything and are a very very low maintain guest, this place is for you.

Chambre très propre, spacieuse et bien équipée, avec pour nous une superbe vue car nous étions au dernier étage. La piscine est très agréable également, l’eau pas trop chaude, et elle est souvent inoccupée. Le petit bar avec de quoi manger et boire à la réception est bien pratique. Seul petit défaut selon nous : l’isolation, nous entendions le soir en bruit de fonds les basses de la forte musique diffusée par les bars alentours, mais pas de quoi nous empêcher de dormir malgré un sommeil assez léger. En bref, nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à Aonang Dugong et recommandons fortement cet hôtel !

I recently stayed at Aonang Dugong Hotel and it was a delightful escape! Perched on a hill just steps from the bustling street, it offers perfect peace away from the noise—pure bliss after a day exploring Ao Nang. The rooms are super spacious with tons of amenities like comfy beds, rainfall showers, and balconies for chilling out. Tours and taxis pick you up right from the lobby, making everything hassle-free. Love the on-site coffee shop, and that restaurant across the street? Hands down the best Thai food—fresh seafood that had me going back nightly. Friendly staff made us feel right at home. Highly recommend for a relaxed Krabi vibe!

Excelent value for money

Overall good value for money. Location is very central; everything is within walking distance. The room was spacious, had a small balcony and AC. -Across the street there is a party hostel playing loud music till late in the night. We didn't mind but if you're a light sleeper it might bother you. Our AC was leaking water into the room. Staff came to check it, put some towels on the floor and said it would get fixed the next day. Unfortunately nobody came to fix it. The bathroom had quite some mold and also the shower head was moldy/dirty.

Excellent customer service, good breakfast options and great location

The poolside rooms are awesome. Just open the patio door and get in the pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location. Only thing that was needed was more pool loungers

Central location to the beach, shopping, nightlife, and docking point for the longtail boats. Spacious room and clean grounds, kudos to housekeeping. Front desk personnel should receive training in hospitality and treating Asian guests equally to Caucasian counterparts.

Очень приятный внутри отель. Но все портит ужасающий шум примерно до полуночи вокруг отеля . Спать невозможно .

Os quartos são novos, amplos e silenciosos apesar de ser bem perto da rua principal que é cheio de restaurantes. A limpeza é boa, apesar das toalhas estavam cheirando toalhas que não secaram direito (cachorro molhado). O maior problema foi o café da manhã, muito pobre. Só um tipo de fruta, melancia, isso quando tinha, reposição lenta. Café é Nescafé diluído em água, não tem outra opção de nada, nem capuccino, nem chocolate quente. Somente um tipo de pão de forma, tem somente uma torradeira para todos os hóspedes gerando fila grande. Uma pena, por que o hotel é otimo, com uma localização ótima e funcionários muito cordiais, podiam investir um pouco mais no café da manhã para se tornar excelentes.
