班考度假村

We enjoyed our stay at Baan Kaio so much. From the incredible breakfast (multiple things to try and such nutritious options) to the great pool and beach access, we would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Ko Phangan. Tom and the rest of the hotel staff are kind and knowledgeable about the area, trying to go above and beyond to make sure everyone is having a good time. Although we were just 2 adults, we noticed many features that would make this a great place to stay with children.

Wir haben in diesem Resort tolle 1 1/2 Wochen verlebt. Wir sind rundherum zufrieden. Vielen Besonderen Dank auch an Oil, Tom und dem gesamten Team! Jeder hatte immer ein offenes Ohr bei jeglichen anfallenden Fragen, beim Roller leihen etc. Frühstück war für jeden etwas dabei und wer mochte, konnte Abends beim Karaoke, hörbar für alle 😁, mitmachen.

Gutes Resort aber nicht für uns. Das Personal ist wirklich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Aber das Resort ist aus unserer Sicht nur auf Familien ausgelegt. Das war uns bei der Buchung nicht bewusst. Auch haben wir das aus der Hotel Beschreibung nicht klar herauslesen können. Also: schönes Hotel mit äußerst nettem Personal aber nichts für uns bzw. für Alleinreisende oder Paare. Es sind echt viele Familien mit Kindern dort. Es gibt auch quasi keinen Ort in der Nähe. Man braucht zwingend ein Auto oder einen Roller. Oder muss immer mit dem Taxi fahren. Dennoch wäre es unfair das Hotel an sich schlecht zu bewerten. Das einzige was uns echt gestört hat waren die vielen Ameisen im Zimmer. Man durfte nichts liegen lassen. Es kam direkt eine kleine Invasion. Wir mussten schließlich früher abreisen und nachhause zurückkehren. Dennoch danke an das nette Personal.

The woman in charge of checkin was not nice, I had to change my schedule in urgence , check out at 7am instead of 11am. I came , she made me wait for 30 minutes. She said that I have to tell one hour before for check out ( my room was fully paid). They were not friendly , 5 ppl doing nothing, taking their time. In addition the bad music very loud full day. I don’t recommend this hotel.

Wir hatten ein Bungalow mit Poolblick. Der Bungalow war sehr geräumig und mit der Riesendusche einfach toll. Das Personal war großartig, von der Rezeption über Tom, Daniel und Titi. Einfach total kinderfreundlich. Und das Angebot von Tom auf unendlich freie Eiscreme, wenn wir nochmal kommen, daran werden wir uns beim nächsten Mal erinnern 😉 Einziges kleines Ding, die Zimmerreinigung war nicht ganz okay. Aber egal. Trotzdem volle fünf Sterne...

I loved how large the room was

Firstly, the Staff are awesome and super helpful - they are all amazing! Unfortunately, the property is not on the beach and doesn’t have direct access with sun loungers and a dedicated beach area like the other nearby hotels. It requires a walk down a hill and a path thru other bungalows and is not easily visible especially after sunset. Other neighboring hotels offer better access and dedicated beach amenities. Also the room was in a building up a hill above the level of the pool and beach. It is quite a steep walk back up the hill to get back to your room. It is also difficult to walk into the small section of town that’s very close, but the road also has 2 steep hills that need to be trudged up to get there. Once again the other nearby hotels are at beach level and easy to get to beach and the shops and restaurants without a challenging hike. Finally, the property is a bit dated and could use a refresh as well. The ratings in place seem wildly inflated in my opinion. I would expect a rating starting with a 7 or low 8 for such a property. Once again this is about the property and I must re-emphasize how wonderful the staff are.

Struttura molto tipica, in mezzo alla natura in una zona molto tranquilla, intorno al quale ci sta solo un 7-Eleven. Personale gentile, colazione buona ma non a buffet. Mare molto bello collegato da un sentiero ma non ci sono lettini per prendere il sole. Piscina bella ma non è stata al 100% rilassante per via dei lavori al ristorante

I had a very pleasant stay at Baan Kiao Resort. The highlight of the resort is definitely the staff, very warm, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay. The beach is beautiful and only a one-minute walk from the resort, and the pool was great for relaxing. Although the resort mainly caters to families, I still enjoyed it as a solo traveller. There are also restaurants, cafés, a 7-Eleven, and an exchange booth within walking distance, so the area feels convenient without being overly busy. Overall, a comfortable and easy place to stay on Koh Phangan.

Everything about my stay at Baan Kiao was perfect! I originally booked just 4 nights, but I kept extending my stay cause I simply didn’t want to leave. The atmosphere here is just something special, so warm and welcoming, and all the staff are the most amazing. They make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The breakfast is one of the best I’ve had, and the location is also perfect, just a few steps from the beach. Also loved spending time by the pool, get one of Daniel’s cocktails in hand… highly recommended. This place stays with you. I’ll definitely be back.

Wir hatten ursprünglich die "Junior Suite", kann ich nicht empfehlen, direkt an der Hauptstrasse über dem Mitarbeiter Trakt. Wurde aber kostenlos gegen Bungalow am Pool getauscht. Mitarbeiter sehr, sehr nett, insbesonders zu den zahlreichen Kindern. Frühstück ausgezeicht, wird individuell serviert. Das Resort liegt nicht, wie in Expedia beschrieben, am Privatstrand sondern ca. 200m (Durchgang durch Seaboard Bungalows) vom Strand entfernt.

The room was very definitely better than on the photos. Nicely decorated and with spacious terrace. Stuff was friendly and very helpful. And I had best breakfast in Thailand here. Highly recommended and I will be back.

Big clean room. Close to main street but far enough to be quiet. Lovely location straight on the beach. Good food

The staff are the stars of this resort! They are always so friendly and welcoming. When we left, we felt like we were leaving behind friends. Our room, (actually a small bungalow on high stilts), was always spotless, with fresh fruit, coffee, and bottled water replenished daily.

Everything was very nice! The Service was like from a different planet and the rooms that we had for ourrselves would host a family without issues.

The room is very spacious and there is even a hammock on the balcony. Also the food is delicious. The only problem was the noise as our room gave out to a well frequented road.
