Mint Hotel

Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum und man kann von hier aus sehr gut alles erreichen. Viele Restaurants und Shops. Nur ein paar wenige Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt. Zimmer ist modern eingerichtet, wobei die Dusche ein wenig sauberer hätte sein können. Rundum haben wir uns wohl gefühlt und hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Das Hotel können wir deshalb weiterempfehlen

Great location, slept well even in central location. Close to beach and right next to 7-Eleven. We ask for our room to be done (sign at the door) and wasn’t done. I would recommend the hotel.

Was very unhappy with this stay. Upon arrival there was no transfer to take us to the hotel (as had been previously agreed) so paid slightly more and got a taxi from the pier. Not a huge problem but not a great start! Check in was fine and when we got to the room, small things let it down e.g. missing towels, missing pillowcase, leaky air conditioning, food/dirt stains on bedding. All these things are quite small and not a big enough issue to complain to reception straight away. Bed itself was rather comfy. When we got back to the hotel the next evening, I found ANTS down the wall and in the bed. Hadn't left out any food so unsure where they had come from! Complained to front desk who said they would get the cleaner to come back who would also rectify the other smaller issues at the same time. After the cleaner had been and gone, the DEAD ANTS had been left in the bed, none of the bedding had been changed and none of the other issues had been resolved. Ended up leaving this room and checking in to Thalassa hotel (sister hotel) which is on the exact same road. Good location but would not recommend Mint Hotel.

Really good overall, it’s a small building between a Thai restaurant and a shop. Nice inside and generally clean! We had a few ants each day but after around 6 they stopped appearing, still kept my girlfriend up worrying. But overall not bad for the price!

Nice simple hotel for the price. Comfortable, quiet and clean. Sometimes the bathroom smells but this seems to be common in Ko Tao. We opened the roof vent and were fine.

Good comfortable room for the price. Very simple decor but it works. Beds were comfy and the room was actually very quiet despite it’s proximity to the bars, with the window closed you could barely hear any noise. The wifi works but isn’t the greatest. Our only complaint would be the sewer smell from Thr bathroom, we had to open the hatch in the bathroom into the attic and keep the bathroom door closed, but that dealt with the problem. Otherwise the whole room smelled like sewer a few times when we came back.

Hotellet logger veldig sentralt. Det er kort vei til strand, og det er kort vei til restauranter. Mint har ingen resepsjon så vi sjekket inn på et hotell som lå 15 meter ned i gaten. Der ble vi møtt av en veldig hjelpsom person. Rommmet i seg selv var helt ok, men det var veldig dårlig vasket. Vi bodde her 5 netter og jeg trur ikke de vasket en eneste gang. De feiet sand av gulvet, redde opp sengen og la igjen håndklær og dopapir. Jeg kommer til å bestille rom på et annet hotell neste gang. Hvis du ikke er så nøye på vasken får du et billig hotell med god beliggenhet.

L'emplacement est très bien, les chambres sont belle et propre. Si vous pouvez choisissez les chambres qui ne donne pas sur la rue!! Car c'est bruyant le soir.

We were looking for a jumping point for activities and this place was close to beach bars, restaurants, and Big Blue Diving!

Hotel was nice but a little rough around the edges e.g. No floor tiles in room just bare concrete and scaffolding as shelfing

Had a lovely stay, good location for night life and diving. Clean hotel, minimalist and modern.

Very nice clean room. Comfortable bed. 2-3 minute walk to the beach. Close to all the dive centers in Sairee Beach. Nice staff and good americanos in their restaurant!

För det priset vi betalade var det ett ok Hotel. Om jag varit 20 så hade det varit fantastiskt! Nu är jag inte 20... Mitt i smeten, branta trappor. Sista natten stank avloppet något fruktansvärt...

Pretty cool place. It was a pinch over our budget but we stayed for 7 nights anyways. We had a triple room which had a king bed on an upper platform and a twin on the bottom along with the bathroom. The reception is done a bit down the street at Thalassa hotel. It's not very clear when you get there but there were workers in the other buildings that told us. Would be helpful to have a sign on the door or something. Other than that the staff were really kind! Helped us no matter what issue. Although asking to get the rooms made only included making of bed no sheet changing or anything so it was hard cause there was often sand still on the bedsheets - not a big deal though. Overall was a nice place and well kept. Had everything aircon, TV, fridge, safe, windows and was really close to sairee beach and most main things. Definitely would stay here again if I wanted to spend a mid-range price for accommodations.
